The Blu-ray player was almost 10 year upgrade for me. What I didn't like was that it did not have internet access like my old one did and also I had a problem when watching videos on YouTube or listening to Pandora through the apps on the Blu-ray player. Very loud click songs every time something with switch but I was not using a soundbar, I was using the headphone out on my Insignia TV. So now I bought Roku sticks for both televisions and it's only happening with a different VCR DVD combo recorder but very very nicer. As a Blu-ray player for movies and music it is a great unit.

I purchased this to replace a Blu-ray player with an integrated Surround Sound system. As an engineer, I am fairly savvy, technology-wise, and could not successfully get my old Blu-ray surround sound system to play through my new Sonos Play-bar. My son, who is also very savvy, could not get it to work either. In frustration, I donated my old Blu-ray player and all of its surround sound components to the Salvation Army, resisting the strong urge to give it the same treatment as the problem-riddled office printer in the movie "Office Space". I then went to Best Buy and purchased this simple yet good quality stand-alone Blu-ray player. It was simple to operate and it installed perfectly the first time. I can now easily switch between a Blu-ray recording and live TV without any compatibility problems with my Sonos Playbar, which I absolutely love.

Samsung makes a great product. All my TVs and my other Blu-ray is Samsung.

We purchased this item for my grandmother. She was still using an offbrand DVD player and decided we needed to move her to this century. It is very easy to set up and use the smart options as well as using it for its intended purpose which is watching Blu-ray's.

This is a good quality blu ray player. It is easy to use so if you have children that are of the age you allow them to put tapes in/out, it is probably the easiest one you can have. I have been pleased with the quality and the performance of this player.

I really am enjoying this product. I'm glad that it had Netflix and other apps on it.
