Perfect Clarity in a small machine. This Blu Ray player gives you everything you need to enjoy your movie watching as a family and doesn't take up alot of space to do so. Great purchase.

Bought the deck to play the Blu-Rays but also for the on-line access. Liked watching You-Tube on a bigger screen. Hassle clicking through the alphabet to get to what I was looking for. But that will improve in later versions. No ID lights on the front of the deck to know if it is on or not. That needs addressing. Over all, So Far, So Good

Good picture. Works as expected for last year technology. Hard to add new apps. Does not have light to indicate if power is on or off.

Nice little Blu-Ray player here. Fits on small shelf. Wi-Fi and apps built in and more add on options. I’ve had good luck with Samsung products and this appears to be another good one.

Not at all pleased with this bluray. It can't ever seem to recognize the wireless network connection on the first attempt and constantly has be reinitialized. It has to be unplugged and reset often and will freeze and lock up during netflix streaming movies. I have a strong network connection and no other devices in the house have this problem including two old Samsung Blurays which have always worked well. Samsung support has been less than stellar. You get a hour on the phone with a low level tech who is reading from a script before you can get escalated to a high (?) level tech call back and never comes. When you call back of course you cannot go directly to a high level tech, you have to go through it all again with the newbie tech. Then the high level tech takes you through the same stuff all over again, concludes that you must have a slow internet connection even though nothing else in the house is affected. His response "That's just the way Blurays are." And I was rushed off the phone. It's been a real waste of time and money. Best Buy does not offer a refund or exchange and frankly I don't know if Samsung will either. I just haven't been able to face calling them again.

As far as blurays go it works great. Steaming not so much. First of all I did not buy for steaming but I thought people should know. I bought one like this when they first came out an just figured new technology and just doesn't work that well yet. Not! I have a Roku player hooked up right beside it and it also is running wirelessly. Steams just fine, the bluray player not so much. I bought this model because it was the same price on sale as the one that had streaming capabilities but had to have a wired connection.

This Blu-ray player is perfect for the price. The additional app availability has been great to hookup to the TV in my son's room that doesn't have built in apps. I highly recommend this Samsung product!

This is my second purchase of the Samsung - BD-J5700/ZA - Streaming Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player - Black. I bought this one for our guest room. The picture quality is excellent and the Blu-ray player is easy to use.
