It does what it's supposed to. I was surprised that there is no digital display, or even a led light show that the unit is on. Maybe they are all like that now though.

I had to replace an old DVD/VHS player that finally wore out. One of the techs at BB recommended this unit. Very happy with this- easy to install, very compact and plays both DVD/BluRay discs.

Samsung at its best, we really enjoy this product.

Blue ray crystals clear picture and sound plus streaming video options makes this an incredible deal and go to product in your home. Do everything fire tv or chrome does without another device.

This player plays DVDs that my old player did not.

Good blue ray for the price. I just don't like there is nothing to tell you if you have turned the consult off or not.

I would have gone with five stars, but for the lack of a power on light. It is a little irritating to push the power button and get no indication from the device that it has received the signal that was just sent.

This was a really good Blu-ray player for the money. The only complaint I have, is the same as others that have reviewed this product, there is no light to let you know if the player is still on. With that being said when you press the power button, the player does automatically change the setting on the TV, same when you turn the power off, so you would know if it’s keft on. Was really easy to set up & automatically worked with my Samsung TV.

Purchased to replace a DVD player and a blu ray. So far so good. The wifi option also seems to work better than my old unit. We have a generaly slow wifi and the you tube even streamed fine.

Using this Blu-ray player started out OK. Playing Blu-ray was just fine. And I liked the remote. But, the more we use Netflix, the more it would buffer. Not only that, during Netflix, the Samsung Blu-ray player would freeze and we would have to unplug it to get it to start working again. I did read reviews, but I was let down. We took both of the Blu-ray players we bought back and exchange them for Sonys. So far so good on the Sony’s. No buffering at all.

Pro: Good product at a good price. Slim profile & great styling. Con: No power indicator to tell when the unit is "On".

This is a great blueray player. I also have a toshiba smart bluray and I have to unplug it all the time to reset it and get it working again. So far I haven't had to do that with this player. Needs more apps but other than that works really well

So far this has been a reliable unit. I purchased this for it's wireless capability and it was a great price during black friday. Overall, it is easy to use and is receiving signal in the basement. I had previously been a fan of sony blu ray players, this may sway me to the samsung brand if it holds up. The curved front deign is the only aspect that may be a negative. It somewhat stands out compared to my straight-edged satellite receiver and I do not have a curved LED.

It has all the streaming apps I could want, and it's so easy to use, all I had to do was plug it into the wall, and into my t.v. Also now I get to watch movies at the highest definition.

Does all the things a blu-ray player should do easy setup. Only problem I see is the remote is very close to the TV remote you can we tell them apart by one button

It provides an excellent picture but is slow to respond on switch commands. Remote is a tad user unfriendly in navigating the disk. Basic functions are performed well.

I bought one of these units from an online vendor in Dec. 2016 so I could access streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon). It was so glitchy that it was impossible to make a successful connection to the services (even after the available firmware update). I couldn't believe that Samsung would release such a defective product and was so disgusted that I packed it in a box and reinstalled my old Blu-Ray player. This December, I decided to check for a new firmware update. Lo and behold, all of the kinks were worked out and everything connected just fine. I am now happy with it and bought another one for a second TV in another room.

I bought this to play blu-ray in my guest room, but I really seem to be using the streaming features more than watching blu-ray. It is what it is, and does what it says...I would buy it again.

The product is easy to use and set-up. Instructions are clearly written. It has a stylish and compact design. Should provide many hours and years of entertainment.

Great item for the money! Wireless option is great as well! Lots of useable apps makes it worth the money.
