This is my second blu-ray player. I wanted to be able to watch Netflix movies...check. I wanted it to be wi-fi....check. I also wanted to it to pair up nicely with my Samsung TV...check! It’s a great addition to my home!

This is the first blu ray player I have ever had, and I have recommended it to a relative and a friend and they both own it now as well. The UI is easy to use, and WiFi linking makes it super easy to update software and download apps. The only qualm I have, and the reason I have given it four stars instead of five, is because there is no light or any sort of indicator on the player to alert you if it is on or off. A few times I’ve thought turned mine off but realized later after I turned on the TV again that it never did turn off.

Wifi works like a charm. Really needs a power light. Takes a little bit to start up and with no power light, it leaves you hanging if you really turned it on.

Light, good price, easy to set up. Picture is great, must have to watch bluray over dvd. No one should be watching dvds anymore

I had not bought a blue ray player in years and finally shopped around for the best brand and most reliable. This player exceeded my expectations. Not only was it very easy to set up but the picture is fantastic. Definitely worth the price.

I had no intentions of buying a Blu Ray player, but one of the sales associates gave me some good ideas and that I would be able to use Netflix and other applications. It has been a good investment and I like that I can do Blu Ray/DVD discs.

Since we had to upgrade everything else when our plasma went bad, we decided to upgrade to the blu ray also. Was a choice between this and one other brand and only reason we went this route was price. $40 is $40 to serve the same purpose any would, and the quality it plays seems good. We haven't watched many blu rays yet but noticeable difference between DVD and blu ray. Didn't need the 4K or streaming (tv not 4K but has smart options) but price was right and cheap enough that we can upgrade to 4K if we decide to upgrade tv down the road. Only downfall is same as everyone else...no power indicator, which doesn't affect us much because of the way our tv switches inputs letting us know it's off, but a light would still be nice.

If you are looking for a basic smart blu ray player, this a great one for the price. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but it works perfect for playing blu rays, and using apps which lets be honest is the reason why you got it

The player works great. Only negative is that it does not have anyway to tell if unit is on or not. Wish it had a light to show unit is on.

Great streaming ability and wonderful picture. I do miss the ability to work my controls manually. Only downfall.

fair price, works well, and has various interenet acess features but no indicator light to advise if the unit is ON.

Cheapest bluray player i found at Bestbuy. Does what it needs to do greatly. Comes with pre-installed apps.

This Blu-ray player had everything I needed. Built-in Wi-Fi, Blu-ray and DVD playback. It's it is worth the extra 20 bucks compared to the model down.

Lightweight, clear pictures, easy to use, handy, space saving, affordable.

Depending on the t.v. you have it looks great. Having the built in wi fi helps out alot. I don't have to hook up my lap top to watch netflix anymore.

excellent player for the cost,setup was very simple,including the wi-fi.can also read most files from a thumb drive,only complant is that there is no led indicator to tell you if it's on or off.other than that, highly recommended.

I needed to upgrade my DVD player and wanted a Blue-Ray player. The Samsung BD-J5700/ZA was easy to connect and works very well. I've already told several friends about my Blue-Ray player and the great price!

This is a good player and has had no problem reading any discs put in it. I have used Blu-ray, DVD, and music discs. The opening screen is typical for Samsung players and is easy enough to use. The one thing that is missing is there is no Power On light so if you turn off the TV first or switch TV inputs, you have no way to know if the player is on or off.
