This is by far better than most bluray players on the market. I have own Sony, Phillip's and lg and non of these compare to the samsung.

Purchased this product for a great price. It is a quality compact Blu-ray and cd player.

This DVD player makes it easy to watch Netflix, watch Amazon prime, and blue ray dvds.

I have had the BD 5700 bluray player for a few weeks now and find that while it works ok there are a few negatives. The supported app package that comes with this player includes only the most popular apps most people use e.g. Netflix, Amazon prime, Hulu and Pandora and several apps that don't get much play . If you like sports , this bluray player is not for you because it does not have MLB, or any other major sports app . You might have to get Apple TV or another device to access your favorite sports team if your smart HDTV does not have the app, an additional cost or step . I concur with others that having to open and close the blu ray player's tray manually to insert discs instead of with a remote is annoying. On the positive side, the player works fine playing movie blu rays paired with a good Samsung sound bar or audio system. I also have not had any WIFI connectivity issues or excessive download times while streaming from Apps. This player is not costly and I guess you get what you pay for so if you are only interested in the very basic streaming apps then this player is fine for the price.

This Blu-ray player was a great buy and the price was reasonable. When we got it home it was easy to set and we were quickly able to watch our movie.

This player is very handy and sleek.its easy to handle and this takes very little space

Plug and play. Can't be much easier. Replaced old DVD player. Now I can watch blu rays Too! Might have to stop watching my collection of VHS soon.

Needs better directions on using remote, to control player, would be nice to see a lite to show player is on. Auto update over internet is a nice feature

This blu-ray player is made by trustworthy manufacturer Sony. It's a great player that also can use apps utilizing it's wi-fi connection to the internet. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the design and shape. The shape of the player is awkward and I don't understand the point of the grooves in it. Other than that, I was super happy to get this player half off during black friday.

Wanted a BRD that would stream online. Really happy with this one. Not too pricey & gets the job done. Movies look good & streaming tv too.

My kids love this player, its user friendly and uses wifi to get Netflix and other streaming services. This is one of the Best buys at Best Buy!!!!

Love this system! Easy to install and super simple to use. Love watching all my programs using this. Great picture. Would highly recommend!

We got this for our grandparents. It's easy to use, it's slim and not bulky. They are very happy with this item compared to the old bulky one they had.

Compact unit works very well, no indicating light to let you no if its on or off.

I bought it for all the options, but it has no front display and frustrates my family. Too many better options. Buyers remorse.

Setup was easy. Picture was clear, Read the DVD with no problems. Lots of apps.

Needed to replace my Blu Ray but didn't want to spend a fortune. This was on sale and with it having wifi it was a better deal than others. I like the Netflix, Hulu and YouTube apps but was disappointed that other popular channels were not on Samsung app store. Overall its a good product but if Streaming is mainly what you are looking for I would look at others. I have a Roku so wasn't as important.

Ok for the price. My only issue is there no light indicator when unit is on.

I brought as a Christmas present. I don't know if she is using all of the features but so far there have been no complaints. But it doesn't not come with an HDMI cord.
