This is a good player and has had no problem reading any discs put in it. I have used Blu-ray, DVD, and music discs. The opening screen is typical for Samsung players and is easy enough to use. The one thing that is missing is there is no Power On light so if you turn off the TV first or switch TV inputs, you have no way to know if the player is on or off.

I bought this to go with a new guest room 32" TV. I may steal it for our regular TV since I like the streaming interface better than our current box. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and has been easy to set up and use.

great blue ray player for the price. however it does not have a traditional power on indicator so its a little weird to know if the unit is on or off.

I didn't need anything fancy. Just something I could play DVD's and have access to Hulu/Netflix/Amazon apps. Have not had any problems as of yet.

Since buying the product I've not had any problems. I love that it has Netflix and other apps loaded because I have poor signal in my room for my antenna. Love the player.

Easy to set up and streaming works great. It does not have a power on light and you cannot tell if the unit is on unless you have the screen on.

Sadly, our PS3 broke and we can't quite afford a new system. This was a quick low-cost alternative where we can watch movies. Plus! Once we do replace the PS3 we'll move the player upstairs and be able to watch hulu & netflix.

My husband wanted to be able to get Netflix on his not-Smart garage TV so we looked at several options. Replacing our DVD player with one with wifi seemed to be the best way to go because it provided wifi without adding another device. The apps are easy to get to. I set up Pandora for him so he can listen to his Oldies. Music CDs and DVDs can also be played on this unit. The only problem I had setting it up was some incompatibilities with the Insignia TV. At first the menu screens were gigantic and went off the screen but using a different HDMI output fixed that. Also, the Samsung default option on the home screen is Pictures and the TV doesn't like that Pictures doesn't have audio so pops up an audio box each time the DVD is turned on. I only have two real complaints about the unit. One is that there is no light to tell you when the player is on. You have to push the power button and resist hitting it a second time when nothing happens for a few seconds. The second is that the unit is very light. There is no open/close button on the remote, and pushing the button on the front to open the drawer can push the unit to the back of the shelf. I had to block it with a piece of Styrofoam.

Works very well with our HD TV. easy to operate, very clear picture. Still learning the wifi option.

No issues at all. Installed in just minutes and was very easy to use. Compatible with all the Samsung lines of TV. Great picture and quality.

This player has some nice features specially it's apps. It only needs a power light to make it better.

Bought this unit for my daughter's room so she can watch Netflix. Easy to setup and connected right away to my home network via wifi. Of course it plays the DVD or Blu-ray discs without any issues also. Great purchase.

Player is basic but very effective. The best feature is the wifi connection. It has very good range and effectively streams netflix seamlessly.

The player works well so far. When I got the player, all I want is one that plays blue-ray and it does the job pretty well. It does not have a light indicating whether the machine is on or off, but I can always check it through the TV. Therefore, the light is not a problem to me. The wifi is always connected and I can access Youtube easily.

This unit was purchased to replace an LG that broke within 3 months. Overall, I like it and would highly recommend it. Pros: easy to navigate menus Only owned a short time but more reliable than the previous Remote is easy to use with very useful button options Cons: takes long time to start stream right after unit is turned on (to connect to wifi). There are no power lights on unit (nor remote) so it's hard to tell if unit is on.

This is a great blu-ray player, and it is very slim; so great if you don't have a lot of space. My one complaint is that there is no power light. So, on that rare occasion when I don't have the remote pointed just right, I don't know that the device didn't power on. Nonetheless, that is minor. I would recommend this product.

I bought this player for my kids room. Overall is was a great wait for her to be able to watch her movies sometimes without commandeering the living room every time. The WiFi is GREAT for streaming Netflix and other apps as well. The only downside I have with the product is the lack of buttons and indicators. It only has a power and eject button. Also, there is no light indicator or anything that let's you know the system is even on. Overall the product is fantastic for a smart Blu Ray player at such a reasonable price.

First blue ray player bought, is very nice looking compact not bulky can take it anywhere, easy plug and play that connects to all my Samsung TV and sound bar with one remote . Blue Ray movies on my Samsung 4k television look so amazing and clear, the picture quality is out of this world, will definitely try to see only blue ray movies now.
