This is a great blue ray player. Extremely clear picture ,great price, and matches my Samsung TV perfectly. Great sale price!

I was looking for basic DVD player when I bought this, but found this one with WiFi for $20 more I thought I'd get it so I could use the roku in a different room. Both the DVD and the WiFi are a big disappointment. First, the menu is clunky to use. I know that sounds vague, but it fits. it's not intuitive and you have to wait for it to respond. When you use the DVD and press play you often have to press play a second time. Not always though and it's never the same. So as you work through the DVD menu you press play, the tv goes blank like it's changing but then it stays blank and you have wait a few seconds to see if it changes. If not you have to press play again to get it to finish. It's like the DVD player has a brain f@#t. Like it went to the fridge and opened the door but forgot what it was going to get. If you don't wait it may just be slow to change and your second click could take apply to the next menu and take you to the wrong place. You know, you wanted a soda and it grabs the mustard. Ok, I can live with this, I don't watch that many DVDs. Besides it is kind of fun when you have friends over to watch a movie. Put in the disk and hand the remote to the new person and ask them to que up the movie while you get snacks. You'll come back to the room to join in on ribbing them about their inability to operate a dvd. As their frustration rises it gets even funnier. Caution! Don't do this with someone who has a bad temper. At best,you'll end up with a broken remote from them throwing it across the room. At worst, if their aim is good, you'll have a broken remote and a broken tv. So much for movie night. Finally, a few days later I discovered that you can't get PBS on the Samsung. Are you kidding? So, back out comes the roku. I would have returned it but unfortunately the box went out to the garbage in a zealous after Christmas clean up.

This unit puts out the best 4k blueray ever. My wife and I just love the picture quality and the ease of use for this unit

This unit is great with DVD and Blu-ray capabilities. It also streams so that's an added plus. It does a great job for us.

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas and he loves it. Works great and he can also watch Netflix on it. And it's easy to use.

This player makes it easy to run through all of the functions. Not having an power indicator is of little consequence. Super value.

This player works very well for all of my watching needs. I use it to watch Netflix shows on it often and it never fails to load quickly. The player also comes with other great apps to utilize. One of the best purchases in a while!

I watched "Interstellar" and the HD quality is outstanding. I was debating on whether to buy a Sony but I'm glad I chose Samsung. I love the remote as it is a smaller version of my Samsung Smart TV remote and also controls the TV.

Like the other reviewers have said, the 2 biggest downsides to this are the lack of an indicator light to show that it is on, and the fact that many apps, including HBO Now, are not available yet. Also, in order to get access to the apps, you have to agree to the Samsung (lack of) privacy policy which allows them to track everything you watch.

The unit works fine, all controls are thru the screen menus. The on / off status of the unit needs to be brighter so one can tell the status of the unit.

This device struggles to connect to the internet via wireless connect. You must restart it and reset it EVERYDAY in order for it to function properly.

I love the online features offered on this player. The fact that it has WiFi capabilities is a plus. Samsung products for such a great price was a plus.
