This unit is far superior to the Sony players I had.

We think this is a nice Blue-Ray player for your first. We like that it automatically switches the TV to video mode. The one thing that we do not like about this model is the fact that there is no light to show that the player is in the power on mode.

Bought this player to stream movies. Works great and easy to set up.

This BlueRay player is excellent and would have received 5 stars, if only there was a light that showed when the player was on or off. There is no light, so the only way to know, is by watching the TV. Access to Netflix is great and it warms up quickly.

Worked fine for 4 months. Only used wi fi for utube. Finally got Netflix, and it worked fine for two days. After That, it seized up. I unplugged it and replugged it and it worked for one more day, then refused to connect at all. It recognized my network, showed a strong signal, but would not connect. Called Samsung and was told that if the router is more than 15 feet from the device, they are not responsible for whether or not it connects! Thank goodness for Best Buy. They accepted it as defective. I will certainly contine to shop at Best Buy. Can't say the same for Samsung. Their products may have a good reputation, but their customer service is the absolute worst I have ever encountered. By the way, this product does not have any kind of indicator light to let you know if it is on or off. It's a constant, minor irritant. The blu-ray player worked fine.

Easy to set up and to use. Dvds and Blu-ray play well. Recommend it.

Great Blu-ray player. It works good & fits well in my space.

This product is not as good as the Samsung products i have purchased in the past. I sometimes have to unplug and then plug back up to get the product to turn on with the remote. I will continue to purchase Samsung products in the future, just not this Model.
