It plays dvds

I haven't used the smart features on it bc I have a tv that is smarter than me, so in fact, my 14 year old son makes it go. It's a bummer that there is no vhs slot, but I suppose that's how technology goes.

Have to turn TV volume up quite far to hear the movie. Bought this to watch Netflix DVD's and it does that so it gets four stars.

Everything I've played using this has been clear, crisp, and the sound exceptional. I've also carried it to other friends' homes and hooked it up to their TV's. It has performed perfectly every time.

Great buy for the cost

That's all I wanted, and that's all I use it for. We've had it for over a year now, and are still completely happy with our purchase.

No light indicator

Something as simple as that should have been done. This is another item that is to heavily depended on the remote. Your talking to a guy that looses the remote a lot

ok dvd player with wifi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.one of the things I didn't like about this dvd player is that there is no on light, so sometimes when it quit working I couldn't tell if it was on or off, does have a tendency to just freeze up and the only way to reset is to unplug, would not buy this player again, it seems to freeze up when I am browsing Netflix.

In addition, it updates on a regular basis, giving you the most recent operating software.
