Great Smart Blu-Ray player

Replacing an older blu-ray

My old Samsung had developed a skipping problems somewhere after the start of play. I trust the brand though, which is why I repurchased.

A pain to turn on and set up

It is hard to tell when you have powered on the player because there is no power light to indicate that the device is on and it takes a few seconds for it to send a signal to your tv. I also did have a hard time connecting the device to my wifi. I had to try about 6 times before it was able to connect, I didnt troubleshoot anything I jsut kept trying to connect to the same network. As soon as I connected to my network I applied the updates and it seems to be running fine. I only bought this player because its for our spare TV and because they did not have the Sony model in stock.
