No issues with streaming either. My only complaint is that there is no light in the front that indicates whether the player is turned on or not.

good cheap BluRay

It would be nice to be able to see if it is on. If you need a cheap BluRay, that is what this is. No bells or whistles. Just a solid BluRay player.

Samsung doesnot always get a hit

Yes it does play current Blurays that the older Panasonic did not have firmware for, but how does any manufacturer NOT have a light on the front to show it is on. Why does a Samsung TV remote from the J6300 series (2015) not work even the basic player controls. Why if the player is what you fall asleep to does it override the on timer on the TV in the morning. And why is the gain for the sound so low compared to the J6300 TV. I can't answer any of these so I put the Panasonic back in the system and will use this for the newer Blurays. Smart company, stupid execution.

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I needed something to play my Blu-ray discs outside my siblings' PlayStation. It does the job and does it well. I can't really speak to the WiFi streaming options, as I have other devices that take care of that. For my needs, this player suits me just fine.
