Very easy to install. Works with my TV remote. Works well with DVD's and Blu Rays. My only issue, which isn't that big of a deal, is that it doesn't have a skip button.

We installed this Blu-Ray player in a back bedroom because we had a TV and wanted to be able to stream Netflix to it. It was an easy setup and everything worked right away.

I needed to buy a new player after my niece dropped my old one. I found that they didn't have the old one I had before, so I picked this one up. It didn't take long for the updates to kick in. The only problem I had is when I have is that the remote will have a delay when I switched from the tv to the player. I had to take the battery out & put it back in. But other than that, If you need a good player but you don't want to spend about $150 for a 4k player, you don't have a 4k tv, and/or you need a cheap player, that's simple to operate pick this one up.

This blue ray was definitely a step up from my old one--which was one of the first blue rays released. It is easy to use, fast, and has great capabilities for streaming.

The tv and blu ray work great together with the remote and Samsung makes everything very user friendly and phenomenal quality picture & functionality

Main reasons for purchasing the unit is Blu-Ray and Amazon prime. Blu-ray play function itself is fine, and fairly responsive compared to Blu-Ray players a few years ago. What is slow is the Amazon Video app. It just feels "pooky". Compared to a dedicate Roku or FireTV, it reminds me of my Roku from several years ago. It works, but missing some of that polish the new digital players give you. Still nice to have it all in one box though!

Overall this is a good system. The set up is very easy and the remote auto programmed itself to my Samsung TV which was very neat. I had bought a first one from a different store and the wi-fi connection quit working after about a year. Hopefully it was just a fluke thing. Bought the protection plan with it this time. I would suggest all do the same just in case it's an internal error in several.

I have purchased this basic model three times. Two for my daughter and one for my home. They have all worked great...we use them for streaming Netflix as well as DVD. I would give a 5 star if it had a power-on light so you can tell by looking if its on or off.

Great product for the price. The blu ray does not take long to load and the app are user friendly.

I needed an inexpensive player for bedroom and this player is really good. Easy to use, no problem loading dvd's or blu-ray, and remote works great.

DVD players have come a long way since the big bulky machines. This new Samsung model is great. Small and compact. Easy to install. The streaming Wi-Fi is awesome.

This model is a nice simple model, and all the apps you need to access Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.

The player works fine for playing blu-ray discs. Picture quality and sound are what you'd expect for 1080p. I hooked up the player, connected to WiFi and did a system update. Even after updating, the built in streaming for Netflix and Hulu are definitely not HD. Digging further into the specs, it looks like streaming apps run at 480p. It's a bit disappointing that in 2017, anyone would include a 480p app on a player designed to play 1080p discs. There's no power indicator light but otherwise it does what I wanted it do it, play blu-ray disc rentals from Netflix. Decent player for the price if you're not planning on using it to stream anything. Just tried Netflix and Hulu, did not try YouTube or casting from home network.

Bought this to upgrade my DVD player. It was sleek, light weight, and the picture is great! I was able to upgrade to this DVD with Internet/WiFi for only $5 more.
