The Blu Ray player is good and it does the job. The only thing I think would have been nice to have would be a light that indicates that the player is on or off. Besides that, very good.

I needed to replace our DVD player at the same time as our TV and this model was perfect.

Great 50$ player, speedy, wifi works, only negative is no light to say if on or not. It is a very small unit even played some self made Handbrake mp4s from dvd and worked just fine.

No complaints. Plays Blu-ray and connects through WiFi. Semi outdated home screen and doesn't allow for many streaming services but for the basics it'll do the trick

It was easy to set up and hook into the internet. The only drawback is that it doesn't have any external indicators to show that it is operating or to show the status of a disk when playing.

Works great and looks great even on my old TV. Using HDMI converter to connect to red/white/yellow plugs.

I found that getting the samsung player with built in wi fi lets me hook up the internet to m y now 'dumb' tvs, thus holding off on one of the new smart tv's with aps.

Searched for a while to find the right one for me. I am very impressed with this product.

My old DVD died. Went to buy a new one and the Samsung was on sale. Easy to setup. Rented Han Solo and the picture was great. When I put the DVD in, it pretty much does all the work after that. Just watch and enjoy. I highly recommend the Samsung DVD player.

This was just what we wanted for the gift. Same brand as the tv and they pretty much talk to each other.

I purchased this blu-ray player as a gift not sure what TV my boyfriend had and once we hooked it up with his LG TV I wasn't satisfied. Guess samsung products are better with other samsung products because my blu-ray player works great with my samsung TV.

Wanted something easy to use and setup. Plug in the cords, turn it on...it works. Great picture. I did have one issue...it would not power on. I called Samsung about it and with it being under warranty I was able to get it fixed for free. Mailed it off and got it back within a week.

Offers a wide range of streaming options thru it's WiFi capabilities. However, I do wish it had an on indicator light to let you know whether it is on or off. The only way to tell is to have the TV on and set to receive.

It's easy to set up. Took 10mins. To plug in and log into everthing. All options right there on the home screen. Easy to fine what you are looking for on it. Has a great playback function.

Great addition to my Samsung smart TV, and if you don't have a smart TV great item to turn it to one.

If you want a basic player without issue, this is the one to get. However, it does not have HBO Go, so it's really only useful if you haven't already gotten a blu-ray player with wifi function.

A nice, simple blu ray player with several extra apps pre loaded. Easy to setup and program. Load up time for a blu ray is fairly quick. One draw back is that it doesn't have a parental lock out capability for the apps. Specifically the YouTube app. Nor can you delete any unwanted apps.

the only problem I have is that after about six months of use the player wont play movies all the time. sometimes it plays dvd and sometimes it plays blu rays

I tried and returned a Sony (defective out of the box) and an LG (unacceptable UI) before I got this unit. Syncs perfectly with my Samsung tv, setup was a snap, picture quality is outstanding and menu is the best I've seen. I recommend this unit wholeheartedly!
