I finally upgraded my very old DVD Player to this make and model of a Smart BluRay/DVD Player and I am so very glad that I did. My movies are in very high quality now since I am using a HDMI cable instead of the old and outdated RCA (red, white, & yellow) cables. I also like the Apps that come with this...it turns my Non-Smart TV into a Smart TV now; just because I bought this player. Thank You Samsung...You always seem to have the best products for entertainment !!!

We needed a blue-ray player with Wi-Fi / wireless streaming services for our bedroom TV. This model had all we wanted/needed and more and was an absolute breeze to set up. Took less than 5 minutes out of the box to connect the unit to our TV and get the streaming services set up through our wireless internet connection. Just remember to pick up an HDMI cable to connect this unit to your TV as it does not come with one (none of them do)

Samsung Blu-Ray has WIFI with Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu. Many other features also.

This is a nice little Blu-ray player that I am using to replace my PS3, which used to be in our bedroom (It's been moved to the family room so the kids can use it more and stay out of our room :). It's small, very easy to use, especially compared to the PS3 Blu-ray and basically has turned our older LCD TV into a "Smart TV". It was easy to set up and we can stream media from our smart phones thru it to the TV but usually have the laptop or portable hard drive hooked up to it which allows us to use our 55" flat panel "dumb" TV as a Smart TV. Awesome little box has opened up many new possibilities for entertainment. Now, if we want to watch TCM, HBOgo, Hulu, Net-Flix, etc, we just run it thru this Blu-ray player and ...BOOM, we're at the movies on the big screen! There's plenty of similar devices and I'm sure many of them are excellent but for <$80 the wife & I have a "smart" TV & a small Blu-ray player that's easy to use and has a great picture. You can also hook up to your network router, an HDMI or WiFi device and external hard drive to tap into load of movies, pictures or whatever you could want to see! Lots of bang for the buck in this nice Samsung unit.

Absolutely love this player. It has great features. Streaming works great!! Downfall is you can not determine whether the player is on or not unless you have it on the appropriate input source. Otherwise it's a awesome device!!

I purchased this player as my first generation BluRay player stopped reading discs. I finally moved into the 21st century with this product as it has its own Wifi and I can utilize online apps!! Very happy with this purchase! It was easy to set up and the picture quality is fantastic!

This plays movies with ease and streams Netflix through the device easily. I do like that it is wireless but if you have difficulty with wifi I would suggest making sure there is another streaming source for you. I also had to make sure our cable company had it registered device for the wifi, if there are issues running it on your wifi I suggest checking to make sure it is registered with your cable/wifi.

Since I don't have a smart enough TV, I needed a way to stream Netflix to it . This does the job and it upgraded my ability to play blueray DVD's. It works great and I also have access to Hulu, Vudu, You Tube and many more. And for a very economical price.

In 2 weeks time I purchased a Samsung Curved TV and 2 Samsung Blue-Ray Players. This BD-J5700?ZA Streaming WIFI Blue-Ray player is a very good player for my 2nd Samsung HDTV. It plays regular DVD's and Blue-Rays very well. The only thing I don't like is that there isn't a light to let you know if it is on or especially off. This is annoying especially late at night to try to figure out if you actually turned it off. Other than that I am very satisfied with this purchase. It does what I need it to do for a bedroom DVD player.

works well, simple connections, no issues with online features and streaming contact, and does not make much noise or heat. player is very light and cheap feeling, but it does just dit in the cabinet. down side, no light on front of player to tell if it is on or not.

Having to replace my old Blu-ray player I gravitated to Samsung. Probably because my TV is a Samsung. I was quite amazed at what this affordable Blu-ray player offers. The streaming Wi-Fi feature is awesome. The size is much smaller than my previous player and the quality is really exceptional. I would strongly recommend this unit for price, quality and its overall features.

Works fine. Connected to my wireless network first try and has remained connected since, several weeks. Great for watching Netflix. Adequate DVD player. One annoyance is there is no light on the machine to I dictate if it is on or not. You can't tell at a glance.

This DVD/Blue Ray player is excellent for people like me who do not want to get rid of their DVDs and have started collected movies on Blue Ray. Great quality, great price, couldn't ask for more!

This a very compact and responsive Blu-ray player. It is an excellent value, especially with “smart” features like streaming apps. Only complaint is the lack of a power indicator light, but that might be a plus for some.

This is a nice compact player at a decent price. The wifi and apps are a nice addition, but with smart TVs not really necessary. The selling point is the price (on sale) and the size, which is nice and compact. I run it on a 65 inch 4K tv and 1080p is perfect ... until the 4K players come down in price.

Small footprint with generally good design, easy setup and good quality picture. Good value for the price. As mentioned in reviews read before purchase, this unit sorely needs power light and lighted operation buttons.

This player is much smaller than my previous player. I liked the access to on-line streaming sites like Netfilx, Hulu, You-Tube and others where my old player only had Netflix. The most noticeable flaw I found with this player is that there is No power light so you can''t tell if it is on and not ready to display something on the screen yet or off. Another flaw that I have run into is that at least once it seemed to quit working and I had to press the power button several times to get it working again. With no power light it is hard to see what is happening, or not happening.

It is easy to use and love that it plays both blue ray and DVDs. I also love the wi-fi cababilty. I bought it for my son and he is extremely happy with it.

Bought as a gift for my sister. She loves it.. Proclaimed best gift ever. I bought this model because the apps available. She set it up in less than 5 minutes and uses it daily. It does not come with the HDMI cord (most players don't). The only bad part is -- IT DIDNT COME WITH REMOTE BATTERIES. For the price - I would assume remote batteries are a given. This blew my mind. Almost every electronic system with a remote comes with the 2 batteries. Other than that no issues with the player have occurred. So make sure if you're buying this as a gift you also include the HDMI cord and a pair of batteries. 5 star player but I'm taking a star away because it's just weird to not include the remote batteries.

This is a good quality Blu-ray player. To be honest, since the TV was not a smart TV, I bought it for the suite of online apps available: Netflix and Amazon Prime. Everything works.
