Great blu-ray player with WiFi

Only issue I had was with bd-live which allows blu-ray discs to connect online for Internet content. Star Wars blu-ray would not play because connection, but it works after disabling it.

Freezes a lot.

I have two other Samsung smart tvs so I thought I would give this a shot. It played blu rays fine. The box would freeze quite frequently while watching Netflix. It would lock up with a black screen and it was hard to reset the box because there is no LED letting you know it is on. I ended up exchanging it for the equivalent Sony wifi blu ray player. Best Buy did an even exchange and the Sony is working fine!

Awesome Player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Samsung - BD-J5700/ZA - Streaming Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player - Black from Best Buy, and it's great! Interestingly, when hooking it up, the player's remote also controlled my TV (which is also a Samsung TV I bought from Best Buy) without me even doing any programming. It works just great, and the price can't be beat. Best Buy rules!

Good picture quality.

I would like it to have an on off light so I could tell if I am turning it on or if it is already on. It is also a little noisy when it's operating. it makes a clunky mechanical noise. I have not used any of the smart features yet.

Good solid BluRay player

Another plus was that it offered the Amazon app which a lot of older players do not. Installing and setting this product up is something the average user should be able to do.
