Still up in the air!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return the first one I bought because it was very loud when I played disks and if I had left a disk in but was watching tv, it would make grinding noises trying to turn the disk on then stop. This new one is much quieter, although it has made the same noises a couple of times on start up or if I pause. If I completely stop the movie and start again, it doesn't make the noises anymore. Other than that it works fine. In the past three years I have had to return blu-ray players for malfuctions simular to above. I had replaced 3 sony blu-ray players so that's why I switched to Samsung. So good luck and hopefully everyone will have better luck than me!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had some issues with this blue ray player. There's no light indicator to let you know it is actually on. I've had to unplug it a couple of times to get the wireless options to work.

Wi-fi sucks

However, the specific Blu-ray player is terrible. The list of dislikes is comparably long. Weak Wi-Fi, noisy, material feels flimsy and no lights to indicate if the thing is powered on or off. Remote is standard Samsung remote. There's a higher priced version if you want to test that out. Don't think that had a power light either.
