    I had bought a new not-smart TV and wanted a Smart Blu-ray to add smart features for the new TV. I also had to replace the old DVD player as it only had component output and the new TV did not had component input. This Blu-ray player fills all the needs and has Amazon Prime as one of it's built in apps. A plus as a Prime member.

    This is an adequate player for discs and it has a limited app suite that hits most of the requirements - Netflix, Amazon, and Pandora fit the needs. A browser would be nice for the occasional web surfing not tied to a service.

    Bought this blue ray player to gets Netflix. Unfortunately I an awaiting an additional piece from Samsung to help with it. So can watch rentals only. Does a good job with that.
