I purchased this product as a gift for my son. It is in sync with a Samsung Smart TV. It has been a great product, it was easy to connect, and works beautifully. The instructions were clear and concise. Streaming was clear and easy to set up. The price was better at Best Buy than anywhere else!

It was time for upgrade at my home theater and i see this samsung 4 k i was amazing about all the the extras and also the quality of player i am very happy Thank you best but for the experience of get some that amazing my buying experience

Plays blurays great. Regular DVDs the screen blacks out every few minutes for 2-3 seconds. This is not a good player

We purchased this to replace a prior Samsung DVD player and we have been delighted with it so far. No skipping issues with disks and excellent connection to subscription services through the Smart option.

Needed to upgrade our DVD player with the purchase of our TV. Went with this brand to make it easy to sync with our system. Like the low cost as we don't use it often, but kiddo still likes to watch movies from time to time, so we weren't ready to give up a DVD player all together.

Works well, solid app list including your common ones like netflix and amazon. Starts up movies from disc quickly as well. Apps can start within a minute or two of powering on and are snappier than most built in apps on devices like this. However once ever week or two, it powers on and won't display to the screen or respond, or power off. I have to completely unplug it and plug it back in, and then it works with no issue for a couple weeks more. The 4yr extended warranty was super cheap for it so I figure if it actually goes out I can get a replacement quickly.

this is a great blu ray player Samsung what I like about this blu ray player is that every time when you take of the disc and you put it back the movie leave you where you pause its awesome.

The Samsung Blu-ray player has a reasonable price. Its play back was smooth, delivering the best video quality available at this price point. The player has plenty of streaming apps available at launch.

I purchased this same one about a year ago and decided to get it again for a new TV in the bedroom. It works best when paired with a Samsung TV, but it does the job it is supposed to do no matter what. I wish it was a bit more responsive about opening and closing the tray, but it is not bad.

Easy to set up and use. Only downside is the remote is not very powerful so you have to be close and it won't work through cabinets.

It works good. I had issues connecting iit to my WIFI, but did get it after a few trys. It doesn't have an indicator light to tell you it is turned on.

Returned this item after trying it out. Was disappointed with the features, menus and lack of streamlined compatibility. Went with the Sony BDP-S6700 after the return and am very pleased.

The app menu is not the greatest, showing only a select few of the apps available on the device. In addition, it glitches out and stops playing streaming content sometimes between episodes.

It works for its purpose but I ordered a redbox movie played it and it went mute on me with the message it gives when you play a black market movie. Strange

Bought this for my mom and dad to finally enter the 21st century lol, never needed one myself due to gaming so I own 3 or 4 bluray players. I had no idea they were so steep 100-120 dollars for a bluray player?! Please, this one does just fine for half the price. You won't be disappointed.

The only reason why I purchased this item was to replace a former like item that broke down after several years of use. I am rather disappointed in this product because first off it does not have a power light which indicates that the unit is on. Secondly after using this product for only two months, it froze which required me to unplug the unit and plug it back in to restart the DVD player. I probably should take it back to Best Buy and exchange it for a new one.

We need to replace our old BluRay player and this was a good choice. My only wish is that it had a little light to let us know when it is recording. But many others might think that annoying.

This is my 2nd one of these and they are a reliable unit. The first one I had for 4 years and this one replaced tha last one. I like that you can get more apps on this one though.

The access to Hulu and Netflix (streaming services I use all the time) was great. The interface was smooth and was easy to connect to my WiFi at home. Once I moved, it was a different story. It couldn’t find my network at my new place, constantly signed me out of my services & slowed down considerably. I thought a restart would fix the issues, but it didn’t. I ended up throwing it in the trash. Will not buy a Samsung Blu-ray player again

What can I say, this Blu-ray player works as it should and includes a remote. No complaints. The outside physical design is not the usual 90 degree angles of a box but instead is slightly curved setting it apart from the other TV and audio components. Nothing drastic, looks great!
