the player works very well but it need and on off indicator. can never tell if the unit in on or off.

Needed a new blueray player as the one I currently had was slow and would have trouble connecting to the wifi. This player is very fast and never gives me problems.

the blu ray is fine except that there is no light for power-on/off

Its a bluray player but you're probably buying this for the wifi and streaming capability aka Netflix. This capability is lacking in this player. Not to say it doesn't work, it's very sensitive. It almost wished it had a wire because it prefers to be within wired distance from your router. It's not ideal. It works but not how you will wish it did.

Worked fine for a little over three years- and then just out of nowhere the discs jammed and connection was flickering. Would think electronics like this would last longer! But alas seems like the going rate. Only saying would not recommend because this model isn't available anymore.

My son needed a BluRay player in order to watch his movies and we both have peace of mind!

I purchased this Blu-Ray player for my RV as an open box item sans the remote control which was stated. The remote controls are easy to find and are inexpensive, so this wasn't a concern. I was concerned that I am not able to hook this up to my home network without the unit locking up, but it works great in the camper through my hotspot wifi.

It does it's job. It's not bad at all. Really slim design which I like. Overall I'd say it's what you need to get if you don't have a smart tv nor a blue ray player!

I've been wanting to replace my old DVD player and did that with this BluRay form Samsung. Great

This is my second one. We actually wore out the first one after six years of playing dvds nightly. It's been very dependable and would buy one again if needed.

I sought (and found) a basic and inexpensive BluRay player that would also do wifi streaming - this one fits the bill, cheap, and a small footprint.

The Samsung player provides awesome 4K picture to 4K TV. The picture is amazing!!! Just when you thought the "Revenant" couldn't get any better, BAM 4K. AMAZING!!!!

Easy to install. Buy a hdmi cable while your at Best Buy so you don't have to make another trip.

Reasonable pricing, good quality, took about 10 minutes to set up. Have a 4k TV and it takes a standard (old) DVD and makes it look like high definition.

brought this for a family member. for the price it was as they say a BEST BUY

Works good, no issues! Only complaint is loud while operating and doesn't turn off on its own.
