Taking back. Also there is no power on light so you don't know if it is on or not...you have to have TV on.

Even just pressing the power button doesn't give you any indication that the unit is on. If you are just looking for an inexpensive but solid blu ray player, then consider this player. I haven't used the wifi because my TV can do that.

I expected this to be a good quality DVD player given that it's Samsung but it would shut off/freeze frequently and remote detection was horrible. I read poor reviews prior to purchasing but thought those were isolated incidents. I guess they don't make DVD players like they used to.

The range on the remote is horrible - you have to stand right in front of the player to make it work. There is no light to tell you the player is on - just guess. It loses connection frequently with wifi so watching Amazon or Netflix is frustrating
