A great product to have with or without a smart TV.

Idk if it was just my player... But for mine it was only good for a couple months... then it started acting up. If I was on netflix or anything streaming, it would cut randomly and go back to the main menu. Slowly it started to alternate between freezing and the screen just blacking out. Then when it needed the update(maybe 6 months to 8 months with the player), i wasn't able to use the player unless i updated it. I was supposed to download the update on a flash drive and insert it. I did. Wouldn't read the update. I called they sent me a USB with the update. I tried. Wouldn't read the update. I then had to send my DVD player in. They updated it and sent it back. I was able to finally use it, but all the other problems did not resolve... One month later... a new update appeared. I tried to update it and the screen just goes black. So now I just hit later and it still let's me use it. But all those other problems still happen. When this freezing and black screen happens, I can't even turn the player off... I have to unplug it and plug it back in.... if I'm having a TV all day thing... I wanna say I have to do this maybe 3 to 4 times in 8 hours.. lol Now... maybe 10-11 months with the player.... it doesn't even turn on... lol. The WORST player.... EVER.

This player even made my non-smart tv get wifi access to Netflix and everything else - highly recommend this product !

I had purchased previous Samsung player. The 250 steaming channels got my to buy this one. However, the channels are junk. I would much rather have spent less and bought the $50 version. Little let down with this Samsung player.
