For some reason this Blu-ray player is very frustrating to operate. When I have it paused for more than a few minutes it seems to lose the spot it was paused at. The last time it was paused I had to go back to the beginning and then it would not let me go to the chapter where it was paused and we missed watching the end of the movie!

At first it setup just fine...practically with no help from me. Then it started saying it was having trouble connecting to my internet. I went thru the usual steps to make sure my connection was working and it was. Took it back to the store and they had a little trouble with it but were able to correct the trouble so I took it back home. Now its saying my HDMI connection isn't working....but it works fine on my other devices. Just seems like the common denominator is the dvd player.

Bought it to use with net flix and amazon streaming. Set up went fine. when I tried to connect with the Net Flix icon It would not work 2 phone contacts with Sansung techs were fruitless and difficult. A third contact the next day resulted in a tech who walked me through a host of tests and it was finally determined that my Blu Ray disc player did not have the proper info to support the wire less connection She is sending me a comp stick for an upgrade This person was great

This was a gift that did not keep on giving. The first movie played fine. The next time it would not even turn on. I realize that statistically I'm bound to get a bad one from time to time but it doesn't make the experience any better. I expect better from Samsung. One glaring disappointment was that there is no power indicator light. Come on Samsung! Even most of the cheapos have that!

I bought this as a replacement for my wired dvd player, but this blue-ray player wont stay connected to the wireless network. Works great for disc movies.

I should have returned this device. The remote batteries were dead and there is no off-on light. A pain in the rear - do not waster your money

the blue Ray player is great But when the your whole neighborhood is a outrage no power for 2 hurs . i wi-fi on the player didnt work at all . cant fixs it.

I don't like this. It seems like it is very slow and the remote is buggy. The app interface is also really cheap and hard to use.

I bought the blu-ray player due to its wifi capability, but it keeps dropping signal even though the routers is not even 20 feet away from the player...

This is an average DVD player. It does what it is supposed to do, but there are no manual buttons to use if the remote goes bad. So no remote, no dvd.

Honestly, it isn't the greatest product. Really outdated software. Apps also use older versions. But it's fine for a cheap Netflix box.

I bought it because it was the same brand as my tv but the length was too long and not necessary. That is why I returned it and purchased a smaller size.

It works great, however the wifi feature stopped working right before we started moving, im hoping they will exchange it. Works great otherwise

I was excited at first. The player has all my favorite apps - YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix. Plus I can watch my DVDs and Blu-rays. And then I got a huge disappointment - the player can’t hold WiFi connection without losing it so frequently that at first I thought I had a problem with Comcast internet. After a few test with all equipment I have I realized - my phone has WiFi, my appleTV has WiFi. Only the player is losing it. Our router was 4 feet away. I moved it closer and it didn’t help. The player has a mind of its own and can play and just disconnects. I can restart a few times - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and I have to forget about it for a few hours. It won’t connect to WiFi even if you try to reset it (refresh the link, enter the password again). And then all of sudden it connects. I guess you can’t expect anything better from just $99 player. But if use it just for watching discs - it’s too much. A big disappointment in this particular Samsung product. For a while I was a huge fan of Samsung (kitchen appliances, electronics). But this player is a junk.

Cannot use wireless feature. Tried numerous ways based on other people with similar problem. Player does not recognize any wireless network.

For some reason, all of the apps will not open in a timely manner; and some still have yet to open. Other than, it operates adequately.

It has Ndtflix but does not always let you access it. You get message that is not connected to internet but you are. Utube and other apps work just fine.

Right out of the box, this particular model / product was faulty. Although we have another one which works fine

This was not what I was looking for in Samsung. I expected a smaller blu-ray and not a big bulky product.
