I don't like this one as well as the Sony's. I can't stand the whole curved shape thing....this or their TVs(Samsung). Wouldn't have one!! Wifi kept dropping out and had to unplug once to get it to power on??

There are no exterior indicators to tell if it is on or off or what it is doing. The wifi adapter is very weak and requires a very strong wifi signal to stay connected. Most times it would not even connect to the network. It does a good job of playing the DVDs but that is about it.

All these make for a very frustrating experience when first setting it up and every time you turn it on. Once This Samsung Blu-Ray player is on, it takes long to connect to the internet. The player is very laggy and unresponsive when going through app menus in netflix, amazon, pandora and others. Press a button and wait for it to respond before pressing again. Otherwise it will register all your button presses at once and jump past your selection. The remote buttons are small and closely spaced, not low light friendly. Have a small light on standby while watching that movie at night! This Samsung Blu-Ray player is a very FRUSTRATING unit. I though about putting it int he guest room, but I don't want my guests to experience any frustration either!
