I use this Blu Ray player mainly to access Netflix. I don't know if it is Netflix or the way this player shows the selections for Netflix, but I hate the way it is set up. My old blu ray was different and I liked it much better. Now when I look for shows it does not tell me immediately if the show is already saved in my profile, I have to actually "select" the show, then it takes me to a screen with more info, where I can select play, more episode, and etc. Only here does it say that this show is saved in profile. Also, if my highlighter stays on a show for too long it starts to play the show automatically. The buttons on the remote are also super sensitive and I am constantly having to back out of show that has started that I do not want to watch. This may not bother some, but I think it's a big hassle. I would not recommend.

Product needs to be hard reset every now and then - unplugged/powered up.

Worked fine until Samsung sent a firmware update that bricked it. (I owned two, the same thing happened to both at the same time) Can't be reset or repaired. I believe Samsung owes us a fix. I'm not the only person this has happened to.

Plays fine but I hate the fast forwarding option. Wouldn't purchase again

virus protection appears to have slowed down 2 of my computers considerably

played good the 1st few times. now it stops, freezes, turns itself off.

You have to guess if the device is on, but it plays content pretty well

it works ok disconnects alot when on wifi i thought it would be faster

I purchased this Blu-Ray player and after having it for just over a month, I am extremely disappointed. The apps now have stopped working and all DVDs/Blu-Rays skip. My WiFi has not changed from day 1 and now only Netflix will work, not Hulu or AmazonPrime Videos. This product is just disappointing.

I purchased this device mainly for streaming and I did my research and this one had access to 250 plus apps. When I was setting it up I was directed to upgrade the software. Unfortunately this upgrade removed access to these 250 plus apps. So, it is not able to fulfill my needs.

for some reason it would not connect to my internet.

This item was not the DVD player I had gone to BestBuy to purchase, but my desired player was out-of-stock. When taken from the box, I was surprised to discover how cheaply the player was built. I have delayed installing it and have decided to return it for the model I had originally attempted to buy.

I got this for my dad. The first issue was that it was difficult to connect to their home theater as it had no optical output. I had to buy a converter which was a hassle. Because of this we didn’t use it much but discovered it would no longer connect to WiFi after a few months.

Seems to be ok, but would like to have more controls on front of unit.

Would not stay connected to wifi! Returned and went with Apple TV and PS4

The player is fine, but the included apps are not what was expected.

Had to return because didn't have the capabilities we were looking for.

Although this seemed like a nice, compact Blu-ray player for the price, it does not allow you to download apps such as Spectrum or HBO Go. Therefore, I did end up returning it. The box was somewhat deceptive, as it states that you CAN download apps in addition to what is already on it.

for a movie lover, and one whom watches dvds and blu rays, anything less than a High functioning Panasonic player is NOT recommended. Panasonic makes the best blu ray players...NOT close.
