Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The blu-ray player only worked for 15-16 months before it started having trouble connecting to WI FI. I eeked along for a month or two spending 40 minutes to connect to WI FI until I finally contacted a Samsung "pro." They said all my settings were gone (they are supposed to load automatically) and I would have to enter them manually. In order to do that, I had to contact my internet provider. 5 hours later, AT&T gave me what they had in the way of IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS server numbers. They got me almost connected, but all that did was give me false hope. Another 2+ hours with AT&T convinced me that the player was broken.

C’mon Samsung

Plays great, won’t shut off.

Just magically turns itself back on 4 minutes later. Did all the recommended updates and still has the issue. When I am actually watching it, it works great. Basically turns any tv into a smart tv.

Didn't last

Initially it lasted pretty well and played everything that we had, however it's about a year later and the player is now skipping. It will not play many of the Blu-ray that we have and is in all likelihood will need to be replaced. I'm not impressed.
