We purchased this item, watched part of a DVD and it kept getting stuck, we thought it was the DVD so we put in another movie, this time a blue-ray, the same thing happened. We returned it and the second one did the same thing. We watched three movies this time and the 4th it started sticking so we replayed one that we had just seen the night before with no problems, it did the same thing. We took both back and are replacing it with another brand.

The bluray looked very nice and i purchased it and the Wi-Fi is so weak in it that i could not get internet on it when the modem is in the next room!

Within the first week, Netflix would randomly hang up and get stuck buffering. If you are looking to stream, get a Fire Stick.

Connects to wifi router 12 feet away only about half of the time. Buffers then cuts off during movies and half the time won't reconnect. I have so little time to enjoy shows and I spend half that time fighting this junk. This is my second Samsung DVR in a row that has disappointed in addition to a refrigerator. For years I've had all Samsung electronics but they've gone downhill. Time to start buying other brands.

Purchased for use as a DVD and for streaming. Stopped connecting to local network and internet after 3 months of use. Tried multiple ways to connect (including WPS) but it was an issue with the player, as our other devices connect with no problem. Did some research and this is s widespread Samsung DVD player issue. Choose another brand for a Blu-Ray/DVD and save the headache!

Bestbuy did a great job getting this BLU-RAY player to me. But, this product didn't work at all. On/Off bottom was inconsistent, the remote was useless, the unit wouldn't connect to my wifi, just a bad experience. Dunno if it was just a defected product. Normally, never had problem with Samsung products, this one just didn't feel right. Bestbuy however was great, deliver the product promptly and took it back with no problem.

The Machine played the blue ray fine but took forever to load Hulu although our other devices and blue ray players worked just fine..

It will not stayed connected to the internet, it constantly drops out in the middle of watching shows on Netflix or it won't connect at all!! I don't have trouble with any other device doing this. I called the company they walked me through a reset and it still doesn't work properly, so it was a huge waste of money because it has been to long for me to return or exchange it, but we have had it less than 90 days!!

We bought this item because Samsung has been a good brand and we thought that this was a good product for the price. Boy were we wrong, right off the bat we had problems with streaming Netflix, then the whole unit froze multiple times requiring us to unplug the unit. Finally the last straw was a blu-ray player that wouldn't play discs. We exchanged for the same unit, same problem. Don't waste your money.

When I first purchased it was okay, then starting a month or so later, every so often I would have a problem streaming or it randomly shutting off. Now, only a year later streaming anything is a chore. It stops and returns to home screen. It tells me that there is no mac address or adapter and 30 seconds later, everything is fine. I love my other Samsung tech so this is very disappointing.

I would give this zero stars if I could. It would not connect to WiFi no matter what we did, even sitting right beside the router. Looked at troubleshooting online, and discovered this is common with this device with no solution. It was the only device in the house that wouldn't connect. Took it back and got a Sony. Zero issues, connected immediately.
