    Software update screwed up wifi

    This product worked fine until Samsung did a software update. Ever since the update it no longer connects to wifi. It was sent back to Samsung for service twice, and they did not fix it. Still using it hard wired to router, but this is not how I wanted to use it. Screwed if we want to use it in another room. Best Buy was no help either

    Worked great for about 2yrs then started having issues.. would not power off, turn on by itself, jump from screen to screen... very strange... Looked up in forums and discovered it was a licensing issue with this Samsung product.. Wish I could get a new one.. Bought 2

    This product started normally, was fine for one week and then out of the blue stopped connecting to WiFi due to an invalid MAC address. I attempted to fix it and it looks like it is a hardware malfunction, but also looking around the internet it looks like this is a common problem. Don’t waste your time or money.

    Worked through the setup

    I was able to get it to work while i setup the smart TV part of the device, but after i couldn't get the remote to work OTHER than to open and close the device, and power on and off.. NOTHING else responds and as this is a remote dependent device, its garbage!!

    I purchased this blu-ray player and it would not connect to my WiFi. I thought maybe it was just defective. I drove back to the store, exchanged it for another one (same model) and it connected initially. Then when I turned it back on it failed to connect. No matter what I tried, I could not connect. Buy something else!

    Do not purchase. Hot garbage. Read other reviews for confirmation: Wi-Fi does not work, it never connects. Also, there is absolutely nothing on the device to display power, time, disc, tracking -- it's a black box that looks more like a mid '90's device, than an advanced Blu-Ray player. DO NOT PURCHASE!

    I can't give it a good review because I wasn't even able to ge it to work Also, the box is EXACTLY the same as the player that does not have built in WIFI. The device, both this and the one needing the cable were terrible. I will say that the customer service was great Amy in Santee is awesome.

    I have all samsung products/electronics, and always buy samsung. But, this blu-ray player didn't reach my expectations. It would change sources whenever it wanted to so difficult to watch stuff. And it stopped supporting Hulu apps.

    I bought one, which was bad and returned to the store for a second one. That one did not work either, so I bought another brand. It could be a quality control issue with Samsung, on this unit only. Probably will stay away from Samsung products going forward.
