This product would not connect to the internet via wifi from the box. I had to make another trip to return it and Customer service could not get it to connect. The software needed updating. I purchased a wifi product for the fact that it would be used in an area that was not hardwired.

Wi-Fi connectivity for streaming stopped working in November - just a few months after purchase. Samsung offered to repair and returned the fixed player. Started not working again last week - same exact problem. Sending back to Samsung for repair or possible replacement. Frustrating!

I bought this bluray player in April of 2016 and its fine as long as you can get passed the constant crashing, the poor streaming quality, and the fact that it says its connected to wifi until of course you actually try to use it. It's a terrible product. Do not waste your time!!!

After about 4 months and at least two trips back to manufacturer's tecnnicians, Samsung stated that they were going to refund the purchase - not replace with an upgrade, just refund. I'm not a happy camper with the way Samsung handled this problem.

My television was older so I had to buy this model

Turns off randomly while watching Netflix, YouTube, or a movie.

I asked a Best Buy employee if this DVD player would work the same as the Sony google DVD player, he said yes but when I got it home and hooked up, all I found were preloaded apps and browsers that don't let you actually surf the internet. Not at all what I was told, it was returned!

Player works well, very noisy when disc sets up. Low price.

We could not get this unit to connect to the internet. It could see our wifi & appeared to connect but when trying to access the Internet, Netflix, etc we would get a message that it couldn't connect. Afterwards I read that numerous people had the same problem. We took it back.

Every other time I would use YouTube, it would fail to connect. I would then have to go to the wifi settings to disable the connection and then reconnect to my wifi server. This would fix the problem only temporarily. I don't have this problem with my Sony blu-ray wifi players.

I read on the comments that some buyers had trouble with getting online. I thought that it was rare or operator error so I bought it anyway. However it happened! This product would not pick up my wifi. I returned it and bought a Sony bluray player which streamed right away.

It only works for so long and then shuts off by itself and then it won't turn back on for several hours. when choosing your options like Hulu or Netflix it is extremely slow in getting to the next option and starting a movie when you finally get to the menu to choose one.

Horrible, horrible experience. I typically like Samsung as a brand (phone, tablet) but this player stopped working within the first 48 hours. Geek Squad had to break it open to remove a DVD trapped inside because all mechanics froze up when it decided to quit working.

Disappointed how do you give a gift and no cords with it

Worked great when first purchased. Only used a handful of times, five years later it doesn’t work. Just says load even when no disc is in it. Tried loading a disk and it won’t close. Very disappointed in this product.

Says it has all share which was my main purpose for purchasing this model but it doesn't. Contacted customer support live chat to see how to connect via all share & was told Samsung devices no longer support all share. I want a refund asap!

Total junk! WiFi performance sucks. Sometimes even the oem remote doesn’t turn the unit on and control it. Brand new dvd doesn’t play didn’t even last a week. Didn’t return as I bought a Sony off of amazon and did t want to be bothered

I only opened the box last weekend to set it up for my brother. The device wouldn't even 'power on'. The door to insert the disc would open and close but then nothing happened. I'm going to have to return it. Very disappointed.

Wi-fi worked fine when I first set up then no dice

I wouldn't buy it again if I had to do it all over.
