Its ok wish it had a light indicator for on and off.

im not sure if it was defective but it kept turning off randomly, i needed to disconnect it, wait a couple seconds and connect and press open instead of on in order to work, very annoying, and them it would randomly turn off in the middle of the movie

Purchased this DVD player on black Friday. 1 week later exactly had to exchange it to the store. It completely shut down while watching and then would not turn back on. The second one isn't work much better and will be returning for a full refund this time.

Unit went into a seizure of some sorts after about 20 minutes of use. Returned and replaced and new unit acts as if on a weak wifi network but mine is very solid stable and strong. Apps are very glitchy to work with. Very poor unit, go with something else

Samsung makes great TV's but have had many problems with their DVD players. This is the last one I will buy. Would prefer using Samsung to match my TV but quality is lacking. Most recent one shuts off in the middle of shows when viewed on Netflix or Hulu

I had to make an appointment with the Geek Squad to learn how to use the DVD player with my old style TV. I found there was no way to connect with my TV. So I had to return it. I think there should be more information available for a purchaser.

Spent several hours trying to get unit to connect to the router. On line reports by many say this is a common problem for this unit. Bought a earlier model two years ago which had the same problem. Had to return unit to store.

I was watching a movie on Netflix- the screen froze and would never resume playing. I could stream on my computer so not the internet. The connecting cable was very good quality. Returned DVD player to store and exchanged for a new one, same model

We really like this Blu-ray player. It is small and easy to install once you figure out how to get it to English. When we plugged it in and started to set it up, it was in a language I had never seen before. I had to call Samsung to figure out how to get it to English. By the way, hold down the eject button for 10 seconds, a menu comes on and you select English. After that, it was a snap to set up. Great picture, couldn't ask for a better Blu-ray and it was a great price.

nothing but trouble from day one waited too long to contact best buy so had to ship it to new jersey for service in less than 1 month of trying to use it. I will never buy Samsung again!!!!

It does not stay connected to the wifi for too long. It lasts for maybe an episode or two then cuts out for an hour, even though it says it's connected. Also, it is up to date on software updates. I would suggest buying something else.

I've had two Samsung Blu-ray players now and neither of them has worked properly for long. Bad power supply, unresponsive remote, etc. Save your money and buy a different product.

Doesn't have a light to show if it is on, says 200+ apps only has like 15 and no instructions if their are more, I returned it two days later only because I was busy the next day

It didn't work from the moment we plugged it in. We bought two for different rooms in the house and neither would work. They would power on and that's about it. Disc tray didn't open, wi-fi wouldn't connect etc.

I purchased both this DVD player and a Sony DVD player...both of which had issues within the first day of having them. I took them both back for a full refund and instead purchased an LG from Walmart.

I couldn’t get it to work on Christmas for my mother I brought it into the store set with the geek squad and they couldn’t get it to work either we took another one off the shelf tried it never worked

Constantly having to unplug and replug this from the power source and reconnect it to my WiFi to be able to do anything at all with it. Stick with a Sony or LG. This is not worth the cardboard it's packaged in.

Spent a few minutes hooking it up. Just to disconnect it. Returned it the following day. The amount of apps available is extremely small. Plus the 1 big 1 I wanted is not available at all. A shame for Samsung Product

Bought this for a gift to ourselves. Got it home ,set it up and it did not work. Returned it for same item and that one didnt work either. Burned twice would not buy another one. Got a refund.

Very poor WiFi connectivity. Strong signal and keeps dropping signal, finally just used a hardware eithernet connection. Not worth the money, and I thought Samsung made quality products. Would not recommend.
