Wouldn't connect to wifi after only 6 months of use.

Broke within 30 days of purchase. Won't turn on anymore.

Doesn't work very well, bringing back after Xmas !!!!!

Purchase item. Plugged in. Did not power on. Returned.

This Blu Ray player freezes up on all disc. Waste

i have sony that was easy get started but this was not

I love Best Buy but the blue ray player was cheap...

I had the same issue of "is it actually working" because of the power button BUT once I tested it, it works great. Streaming is easy and watching DVD's was seamless.

You can't tell if this blu Ray player is on or off.

Pretty good DVD player-really good for price. Needed new DVD player, but use for streaming most frequently. Works really well-highly recommend

A DVD player I've had for years finally stopped functioning adequately, so instead of buying another, I decided it was time to upgrade and get a blu-ray. Works perfectly fine with discs. Love that it starts up where you've stopped it when you turn it on again. (Especially helpful when watching series!) Since I got it, I've mostly been using it for Netflix. Apps are a little slow to load (15-20 seconds at most), but have no problems with them once they're up and running. Device is sort of slow to turn on as well, but it doesn't bother me. Very happy with it for the price!

I bought this as an open box unit, and I am very pleased. The hookup was simple, and so was my getting back into Netflix. It has great color and video, and the add-on apps are also very nice.

I bought this because I wanted something to be able to stream in my bedroom. It was a good price, and very easy to set up. The only thing I didn't like is that it has no "Power/On" light to let you know that it's on - this was a little disconcerting when I first plugged it in because I thought it wasn't working.

I was looking for a low priced DVD player to replace one I had for several years that finally died. I was pleasantly surprised with the price of this player and even happier that I could use it to stream media since the dongle for my Samsung TV also died. If you are looking for a low priced but quality blu ray, this is the device for you.

Other than a light indicator to show when ON or OFF, the device works perfectly so far. I had a pioneer blue ray that took almost 4 minutes to boot and another 5 minutes to read a DVD. Now its instantaneous, it takes less than a minute to to read DVD. It connects to the internet easily and I am enjoying watching TV shows and movies on YOUTUBE.

I purchased this model last week for a non-Smart HDTV setup for under $80. It was extremely easy to install, hook up cables, power up and configure the wireless network settings. I ordered it online, and picked it up at a local Best Buy store. Very easy to do that it that way for me. You won't be disappointed with this model.

I have 5 DVD players in my home, all purchased from Best Buy over the years which are in multiple rooms in my house, with AV systems. My only Blu-ray player is a Sony 3D Blue-ray in my home theater which has a 144" screen, linked to a very expensive Epson 3D HD projector. I was wanting a second Blu-ray player to replace the standard player in our bedroom, so I purchased this one last week. Anyway, I got it home and set it up to connect by Wifi to my Direct TV router. Setup went like a breeze and quickly had it accessing my Wifi. Then launched into Amazon Prime and explored its capabilities with Prime. This first time using it, it seemed to work fine, while drilling down through Amazon Prime offerings. Several days later, I attempted to watch some YouTube clips and after displaying the opening screen showing all the streaming options (displaying the icons for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc), it froze on the options screen and would not launch any of them. Out of frustration, and trying to trouble-shoot it, I tried to turn it off with the power buttons on the remote and nothing happened. It kept displaying the frozen options screen. The player was totally unresponsive to the remote and did nothing. So, next I went to the buttons on the unit itself and tried to turn it off. No response whatever. Would not turn off or on. The options screen continued to display and would not go away. So, next I tried to open the DVD tray, by pushing the eject button on the player itself, to see if I could insert a DVD and it did not respond. It acted as if it was not even plugged in, so I checked the power cord and it was plugged in and I knew it was junk since it did continue to display the streaming options screen. This thing is an absolute piece of junk. Don't waste your time or money in dealing with the sorry excuse for a DVD player. As a result of this, I will absolutely stay away from ALL Samsung DVD players. The only thing I would depend on with Samsung is their smart phones and their flat screen tv's.
