Worst product I have ever bought. I didnt even get to use it for week. I have been fighting with it to connect to the wi fi.Now it might to late to take it back. I have done everything they have told me to do and nothing, it will not connect to my wifi, even though i have four other things connected to it and anyone that comes over can connect. Very bad product.

Ordered product online. Two things upset me with this product. First, paid $99.99 for the player and when I got the box, there was a sticker on the box for $71.99. Second, I could not get the door to open. No matter if I pressed teh button on the unit or the remote button. Guess I got to make a special trip to Best Buy now. So much for the convenience of the website.

Blu Ray player easy to set up and working as expected. Did not come with cables so setup was delayed.

I’ve had this player for about a month and will be returning ASAP. The first time I set it up it took an eternity to make an internet connection when all our other devices were connected just fine. After nearly an hour of just entering and re-entering the password & checking every possible setting it finally connected. Then over the next week any time we attempted to connect to the internet it made me re-enter my password. It finally stopped and I thought all the bugs were worked out and I’d keep it. But 3 days ago it disconnected from the internet again and won’t reconnect again, despite trying several times and on several different occasions. It doesn’t have a light on the front so it’s hard to tell when the machine is actually on and will occasionally take 3-5 times of tying to power it on before it actually powers on. It’s a nightmare and I will be returning it.

pros: clarity, definition good cons: doesn't have rear connections for A/V wires, only for HD wire connector. Could be better

Setup was easy. No wifi connecting issues. No power on light which can be a pain. Biggest issue was it locking up a lot... Two three times a week needing to unplug it for a minute. Now the remote don't work so is a boat anchor. Waste of money. Spend more for a better product.

Just as advertised. I bought the player to replace and old DVD player and to have WIFI access on a non-SMART TV. Works great.

This is our second Samsung DVD/Blue ray player. The firmware update on the previous product caused the player to pause all viewing repeatedly. We thought it was just an old, worn out player. We brought this player, connected it and it did an auto update. The player did the same thing. Called Samsung and they said it's a firmware update issue that they are working on it and to return it. We will be buying an LG.

I needed a new DVD player and didn't want to spend a lot of money. The Samsung was on sale so I purchased it to match my TV.

I bought this as I was looking for a DVD player for the tv in my room. I thought it would be convenient to have the wifi device. Since I have purchased it the unit will not connect to my home internet to use the wifi feature. Not exactly what I expected. Was considering purchasing more however will consider another one at this point for the tv in my daughter room.

I have a good router and hooked up this machine to a tv about 15 feet from the router. I only got it to work once! All other times it told me that the internet connection had failed. All other equipment I use the router for was working. Finally returned it and bought the SONY which works great.

its a blu ray play that works smell like new and works oh the color is real not that cheap black

This Blue Ray works well. I do not need a Blue Ray with 4K resolution, so it is good for me

This player constantly freezes requiring it to be unplugged to reset. I'd return it but didn't find out what a piece of junk it is until after the return time. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

With this blu ray player having 4.3/5 stars I assumed it would be a good product, but it definitely is not. Originally I had a Sony one, but it wore out after 3 years, so I replaced it with Samsung. Worst decision!!!! After a couple hours of streaming the FIRST DAY I got it, it froze up. It would not turn on or off (I could not tell which since there is no indicator light). It was just a black screen. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, seemed to be okay, but did the same thing a few hours later. I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it, but guess what? The new one does the same thing! Very infuriating! Do not buy! Such a hassle! Waste of time and money for sure! I will be returning this unit tomorrow and getting a Sony one again.

I got this player when I purchased our first 4K TV and it has worked really well with it.

I have exchanged this player 3 times in 6 months. Plays discs for the most part. However trying to stream our Netflix or Youtube is becoming more of a hassle. Although I've had these issues sporadically over time it has been daily over the past 2 weeks. Kept saying I had internet issues (IP address) and would have to unplug everything, resign in, etc daily. Then that didn't even fix it anymore. Player is up to date and have even reset and didn't' help. Finally just had to run Ethernet cord directly to fix problem (Didn't want to do which was why I bought WiFi). Now when streaming Netflix I have to unplug the player after ever show/movie because it freezes on black screen. Have to 2 year protection plan (just exchanged for this one a month ago) but it's useless because our store only carries maybe 4 -6 players and only 2 are WiFi. Do not buy to stream!!!

1. Wi-Fi connection frequently was slow or dropped altogether. 2. After power off/on, the Wi-Fi credentials disappeared and had to be re-entered. 3. After power/off on, DLNA media device has to be manually connected. 4. IMO remote control is a busy array of unintuitive buttons. 5. Remote control will only control a Samsung TV. Entering a code for another brand TV is not possible. 6. I did not like the user interface. 7. No power on LED on front panel. 8. No USB port on front panel. Notes: - I exchanged this for a similarly priced Sony BDP-S3700. The Sony does not have the aforementioned problems. - All Wi-Fi devices in my house have no problems with Wi-Fi connections - In 2014, I had same Wi-Fi problems with a Samsung BD-F6700 - Picture and sound qualities of both Samsung and Sony were about equal.

Excellent dvd player dont need a smart tv with this device

Blu-Ray is the way to go. Love the clarity. Highly recommend.
