I bought this for a gift for my daughter. It should have came with a clearly marked warning on the box that it does not include a HDIM cable. I bought this at the sales person's recommendation. I feel he should have mentioned or asked if I needed a HDMI cable to go with it. By not doing so it caused me another trip to the store and a delay before she could use this gift. I chose this as something I would recommend buying to a friend, only because if I am talking to a friend I would know to tell the friend they also would need to buy a HDIM cable.

the size of this unit is awesome. Was able to place unit under the TV out of the way and easy to access. Cost was very affordable.

the blu-ray player does all that it should. it's not a "fancy" player but it does everything I asked of it, it played my disks and didn't explode

This was a good product for a good price! The built in wifi and smart features made it easy to stream Netflix and operate the TV like a smart TV.

We were looking for an inexpensive Blu-Ray player for the bedroom to supplement the better player in the Living Room and this Samsung fit the bill.

We bought the Samsung - BD-J5700/ZA - Streaming Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player as a replacement of a SONY Blue ray player that was dysfunctionable.The Samsung Blue Ray player works okay without any issue.

Good for the price. Easy setup. Must use the remote because there are no buttons on the unit itself. But all in all a good unit.

We put this in our bedroom to access Netflix and YouTube. Works great! All kinds of other features and apps, too! Definitely helps with putting our baby to sleep because of the internet access to his favorite bedtime songs!

Bought this to replace an old blu Ray player. Had to return the first due to wi-fi problems, The second one works great! Always trust Samsung.

Great little smart blue ray player,easy hook up ,and plenty of apps. Easy way to make a non smart tv smart.

Works well however I wish it had an light or something to let you know if it was on or off. No lights on this unit at all. Otherwise, works fine.

I had seen other reviews for issues of Wi Fi connection- but I had no issue. Plays blu-rays and DVDs just fine. I'm not huge into details though.

Only reason for four stars is that there is no light on front of device to indicate that it is on.

Easy to set up and a good picture. Just wish that it had a power indicator would let you know when the power was on of off. Overall satisfied.

My last Samsung bluray up and died on me so I had to purchase a new one. This is a nice player. Love the remote! Small and it synced with my Samsung speaker easily. Great buy! Just hope it lasts longer then my older one.

Love that I can watch Netflix thru the device. Great playback as well

Although have not used the full extent of the device, it appears to be a good product. So far, easy set-up and connecting wireless was a breeze!

simple easy to use I bought a Sony a few yrs ago and it only played about 20 times before it failed. hoping to have better luck with the Samsung

Great player so far, just wish it had a display screen on the face of the player. The time info and other displays are only shown on your TV.

This is a really nice bluray player. It does so much in a small package. Streams beautifully. Some of my discs were acting up in my old player. Every one plays perfectly in this one. So simple to hook up and use. Great buy.
