I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this unit was to set up and operate right out of the box. Really pleased with the image quality compared with the DVD player I had previously. Can't wait to watch movies now.

A great Blu-Ray player that does it all! Creates beautiful picture when watching your favorite Blu-Ray DVD and also lets you watch streaming apps like Netflix. It allowed us to use our NON-smart TV as a Smart TV.

This Blu Ray player has it all from apps to playing my movies crystal clear! Definitely one of the best players out there

Great versatility with ability to watch dvds, blurays, and multiple apps installed such as you tube, amazon, netflix. It's an all in one viewing machine if you connect hdmi cord to your tv.

An update to a previous review: What the manual doesn't tell you: You can avoid loading a disk when the unit starts by selecting quick start in the settings. Unit will recognize a USB drive left in the slot after shutdown by selecting change device. Still has limited apps so you may need another streaming device if you want more than what's built in. Works nicely with a Samsung TV (e.g. DVD remote also controls some TV functions). No "on" light so can't tell whether it's on or off unless TV source is connected to DVD.

This would be a five star review, because it has great menus and a great picture. But the initial start up is slow.

Slow to power on, no external lights to let you no anything is happening. Sets up easy enough

I was looking for a blu-ray player that would also let me stream Netflix on a TV that was difficult to network with a network cable. This works perfectly for that and was priced very well. Only complaint is that the lack of display on the unit leads to some confusion in turning it on due to some lag in the boot-up process.

This was the least expensive Blu-ray player I could find locally with WiFi capability. Best Buy had the best price. It works well. The brain froze once, but removing power reset its circuitry and it has been fine since. It is missing just one thing - a light indicating that it is on. We will live with that, but it sure seems odd.

we were after a blue ray player for our room but never got round to it, then over Christmas I was in our local BB getting some ideas when I came across this. You will need to purchase an HDMI cable as one is not included and if you need it an ethernet cable (it has WiFi built in). It took me about three mins to set it up, most of which was getting into the package. Once set up it conneccts to some of the popular on line services but not to a LAN stream We love it!

I have not used the player much, I really purchased it because I purchased a new Samsung HDTV and I wanted a DVD player to o match.

The only thing which I would wish for would be a light alerting me that it's still on. It's just too easy for me to walk away without realizing that I failed to turn it off. Other than that, it's reliable and it does an excellent job of playing both BluRay and regular DVDs. And it quickly and easily connects to all my apps.

This Blu-ray player is great. no buffering when watch Netflix. the only thing weird about it, is there is no power led light?? at first I thought it was bad.

We mostly use the blue ray player for Netflix, but plays movies great and the menus are very easy to use. Cant go wrong on this item.

Easy to install, and easy too use. Would have been nice to include an explanation of making one remote work for TV and for player.

I have all Samsung products and this matches up with them…same remotes, etc…would buy again. wish it had a power light on front….

Good, simple, practical device. Nothing fancy but serves its purpose perfectly. Wi-Fi connected and app compatible.

This one can play both Blu-Ray and DVD, which is what I was looking for. I did notice that when I tried looking up an app to download so I could watch movies the one I wanted was not available so I was disappointed in that. (Not sure if I didn't do something right on my part, though.) Easy to connect to WiFi.

So this unit plays Blu Ray and DVD greatly but the wireless connectivity can give you a headache without an ultra strong signal...

it's a really good quality product great picture but I wish I would have waited and bought the 3d one so I could link my phone to it
