This blue-ray player is excellent for the entry level. We patched it into our home theater system and love it! It is a simple model that doesn't take much to hook up and the quality is superb.

Just needed the bare minimum for my son's room. Just enough to put DVDs or netflix on. It is simple to set up and use.

It has pretty good apps. The wifi feature works well, no lagging during the movies while I was watching Netflix on it.

I like this blueray player except for one thing...it does not have a power light to let you know when it is turned on.

Easy to use even for my 5 year old. Has all the options we needed for her to use. Just make sure to update the firmware before using it. The firmware that comes on it is a little glitchy.

There is no off/on feature on the front of the DVD player for you to know if the player is on or off.

I no longer have to rely on cable entertainment. The apps on this blu ray player are awesome. I have been able to catch up on some shows I used to watch through the premium cable channels with no additional costs. The streaming is seamless and no freezing of screens while watching Netflix or Amazon Prime.

This streaming device/Blu-ray player works great. Easy to set up and easier to use. It will occasionally freeze up on me, but after unplugging and plugging the power back i, it works great.

I bought this because I bought a samsung smart tv. It will communicate nicely with each other and each remote will control the other. the only thing it is lacking is the watch espn app

I really love this product and it has lot of inbuilt apps and give limited trial period to enjoy these apps without any charge. Quality and other features also good as well. Go for it.

Only complaint is there is not a light to show if the blue ray player is on or off. Other than that, it's perfect.

The player is compact and works fine. There are no indicator lights, but other than that it's fine.

This was a replacement to an older Samsung that appeared to have died. This one was very easy to set up and connect to the internet. It took a total of about 10 minutes to accomplish.

Very reliable, easy to set up and performance is very good. It meets and actually exceeds my needs.

I picked this up to for my parents to replace their old bluray and it was open box so I only paid like 40. It does its job and is very easy to use... I only reviewed it for the points :)

The device has been working well so far, although it did get stuck the first time we turned it on, but after unplugging it from the electrical outlet, it started up without problems, and has been working fine ever since. It's worked very well with Blu-Rays and DVDs, though Netflix has had a few hiccups; after a firmware update it's been unable to connect correctly from time to time. Also, the network settings have been forgotten a couple of times and we've had to input the modem password...not a big thing, but a bit annoying. The one big flaw is that there's no light indicator to show that it's powered up! Also, the drive is a bit noisy...not really a big deal, and I don't really know how it compares to other players, but you'd think that wouldn't happen nowadays. The user interface is a bit akward, but I still haven't seen any Blu-Ray that doesn't suffer from that problem. In general, it's been working well and I'd recommend it, but I'd also recommend buying the extended warranty, it's not very expensive and it covers you for a few years.

Purchased the blu-ray player for use in our travel trailer. We camp frequently from May 1st to mid October & can't always count on perfect weather. Looking forward to the easy use of our player for those evenings we can't sit around the campfire. We also trust the Samsung brand to give us years of uneventful use. Some campgrounds offer Wi-Fi service, so this Samsung blu-ray player will allow us access to those services.
