This Blu-ray player is perfect player for watching movies, as well as turning any tv into a smart tv. The preloaded apps are the very apps that are used most and easy to use. This unit would have gotten 5 stars from me but it does not have an indicator light for on/off.

We purchased this unit for the bedroom. We were limited on depth and it fit the space perfectly.

I've used the Google Chrome connected to my TV works great with my tablet I stream many Internet channels straight to my TV with no wires unlike all the other you have to run a cable of some type to connect with your TV. I have not used all the features it has but I like it a lot better than roku this gives me more options of what I want to watch. As for the Samsung blu ray player it to is a must have I already own one besides the great picture and sound you get from your DVD movies it's loaded with Internet channels although you do need a hdmi cable to connect. It does have a feature that is called screen mirroring that works with Samsung tablets that have the same feature and maybe others I'm not sure since I only own Samsung. It will show on the TV exactly what's on the screen of the tablet. I use it for videos that are not compatible with the chrome. cast yet.when you add a Samsung tv and a Samsung tablet and they are all sync uped it's amazing how well they work together it's as good as a smart TV if not better I think for not actually owning one This is supposed to be a review of the blue Ray player so read on.this I thought might help someone here a little bit of how it will work together with a complete entertainment center short of a sound system since there are so many options with the right ones you will only use one remote control and your tablet if you decide to incorporate that. I hope this helps someone.

This gives smart tv features to non-smart tv's while also playing blue-ray dad's.

We purchased this for our screened in patio that doesn't have cable. The streaming works great!

Works well, as advertised, and controls our Samsung TV. Streaming over wi-fi is also good. Converts a 7 year old Samsung 6 Series TV into a respectable smart TV.

The only draw back is that you can't tell if the DVD player is on or off. No light indicators.

I purchased this to replace a more expensive failing Blu Ray player I had in my bedroom. For the price you can't beat this unit. There is no visual display on the unit so you have to rely on the on-screen display. It has no problem playing DVD's or Blu Ray's, my previous unit seemed to be developing an issue playing some of the newer Blu Rays. Again for the price you cant beat this unit.

This is a great companion to the Samsung Smart TV my wife got for our grandson's TV time. She was able to easily hook it up to the television and get movies playing.

This model has all the necessary features at a great price. The wireless system works flawlessly. It up scales to a high pixel count for an outstanding picture.

Needed a new BD and the additional options on this such as Netflix we’re perfect.

first one worked so well in the spare room , got one for my friends boat and set it up to work on 4 TV's in each cabin. Wifi great while in port.
