This blu ray player works great for pkaying the discs and the smart functions,work just fine. My issue is that there is no power on indicator light and after I turn it off, or think that I have, it continues to keep triggering the dvd input on my TV. If it had a power indicator light, I would know if it was off or on.

When I first used it I was looking for a signal to let me know on the box if it was working then realized everything is seen and selected on your television screen. This blueray player is different from one I already have but it works just fine I have no complaints. It has a lot of the latest options to watch movies which is a hugh plus especially if you don't have cable or premium stations with your package you can still watch movies.

I love the size of the new disc players and this one's no exception. Though small, it's loaded with features. Once connected to your Wi-Fi, it can stream Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, and many more. This is awesome if your TV is an older, non "smart" TV, and you don't have a streaming media player, such as a Roku or Amazon Firestick. For little more than the cost of a media player, you get a media player that plays DVD's and Blue-Ray's. Bonus!!

Networking the device was not straight forward. I had to reboot my Router in order for it to join the network (did not have to do that for any other device I own). Other than that the device works as expected. Netflix runs without any issues and displays a good picture quality. DVD & Blu-rays play well also.

Excellent price-point for a Wireless BluRay Player that will up-convert DVD to Blu-Ray Quality. Also, this player affords WiFi Smart Service such as Hub to NetFlix and Pandora. Easy to set-up, basically plug-in and play. Compact size and lightweight, could travel well also.

This is a great blue ray player and it has WiFi. So I can stream through my home network. It works great, easy practically auto set up. I use this outside with my projector so the family can watch movies in the back yard. It's small, lightweight, and great picture

I have only had it for a short time, but I have enjoyed this product fully. I watch a lot of Netflix, Vudu. and Hulu and haven't had any issues with this product. Samsung in general has very good products overall. I have previously owned a Sony blu-ray player and couldn't ever get Netflix to work on it. I also love that this player is wireless and has built in wifi so that we don't have to run long cords along our floors or walls.

This Samsung Blue Ray DVD player allows me to connect to Netflix, and 250+ apps, and it is small and compact. The only minor issue I've had is a loss of connection which a call to Samsung tech support resolved immediately. I believe Samsung makes good products so that's why I went with this player.

You wont find a better player at this price. No it doesn't have a front display but it works just as good as any of the other players I own. The last player I bought which was more expensive and a Sony I had to return 3 different models because they wouldn't work. This is a good dependable player.

Something like this would have cost hundreds of dollars years ago. I got this on sale for $50!!! Had no problem connecting to home network. Updated software and set up Netflix and Vudu! Nothing could easier! Solid blu ray player that will turn a "dumb" tv into a "smart" tv.

A good blu-ray player for the money. I like that it has wi-fi so I can watch shows on netflix and amazon prime. The only negative is that this player does not have a power indicator, which makes it difficult to tell if it is off or on.

The device was easy to hook up. The quality of picture when playing a DVD is excellent. The connection to Netflix and Hulu is quick anf the quality of the picture is excellent. Player is much smaller than the previous Samsung player which is a great feature.

Easy to hook up and great picture small in size and very lite in weight great for the price

I got this to replace my old Sony Bluray that was not reading my disc anymore. This Samsung unit is very compact and easy to hook up and get started in a few minutes. The only complaint I have about the unit is the fact that there is no light to indicate that it is on when I am not using it.

If you're at all familiar with the Samsung line of BluRay players then you'll immediately spot the difference between this machine and its predecessors - the lack of a digital display on the front of the machine. This engineering short sight means that unless your TV is on, HDMI plugged in correctly, and source switched the correct input - it's impossible to tell whether the machine is switched on or off. This concludes the list of negatives. What you end up with is another installment in a line of competent BluRay players. If you have a Samsung HD TV (and I do) then this device will interact with your TV seamlessly with the remote that comes in the box. The switch from a gloss to matte finish was a nice touch - as the gloss predecessors tended to scratch despite having nothing around them. The remote is easy to navigate, and most of the quick buttons have been replaced with a smarter software that includes all the features of the machine on one compact HUD accessible when you turn the device on.

Affordable, great picture. Easy set up and very easy to use. You can't go wrong with this one!

This is a very good BlueRay player that had the ability to interface with Netflix and other movie sources. We have not used that ability yet but feel it should be easy to setup based on the menu system it has. Have not had a problem playing DVD or BlueRay discs yet. It could use a stronger case but it does seem comparable with other DVD and BlueRay players. It interfaces particularly well with the Samsung TV.
