Using this to replace a 1TB mechanical external harddrive after it randomly corrupted. This one is half the size and more than 10x the speed. Great purchase

This is the third Samsung SSD that I have purchased. It is fast, reliable, and easy to use. I highly recommend.

This thing is fast! I use it to run Windows on my iMac via USB C to USB C and it is just as fast as an internal SSD would be.

Easy to use. I am using it for external memory for a Playstation 4, maybe a Playstation 5 later. Formatting, using the Playstation, it works good.

Samsung always a go to brand for durable products, and this this solid state drive didn't disappoint! Only negative I have is that it's a bit pricey.

Picked this up as backup drive for my MacBook Pro. Works great with time machine backups. Initial backup took some time, however, much faster than traditional USB drives.

If you are a gamer, then this is a must have to gain an extra 1TB of space, but also cut your loading times by almost 1/3 compared to external HDD's. Must have!

The Apple owners know what a Time Machine represents and if they don't, shame on them. I was using WD regular optical drives for my time machine and it became a slow process, especially when it was time to transfer all the data to a new computer. My son told me about the speed of the Samsung SSD drive and I thought time machine would be a great application for this drive and I was not wrong. It made a big difference when I bought my new iMac and used the Samsung T5 as my backup drive. When it came time to restore all my data to my new iMac, it was a much quicker and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this drive for Time Machine use with the Apple products.

Great external hard drive. Very simple to set up and use. This hard drive works perfectly with my Mac, is fast, and has lots of storage.

This ssd drive is super fast and super small. My only complaint is that the cable is so proportionately bulkier than the drive itself. Still it is super fast and quiet, there's no sound at all.

Great hard drive. Flexible for travel and easy setup

This is a great performing SSD I connected to my Xbox One. No problem moving games onto it and playing off the hard drive. I found loading times noticeably faster using this SSD rather than the Xbox internal drive. It was also powered by the console itself so I didn't have to worry about using up another AC outlet. This became a little less useful with the new Xbox One X; however, it makes for a great backup drive to plug into a computer. It's continued to perform well and reliably. I wish it were slightly cheaper but you're getting what you paid for here.
