very fast, and no moving parts to fail, just plug in and its ready to go

I actually have 2 of these on both our computers and they are great! Perfect thing to use for backing up our important files, plus you can use it for storage if you are wanting to save some space on the main computer. So small just slip it in your pocket if you need to take it somewhere else. Highly recommend!

Plugged into my PS4 Pro, formatted as extended storage, and got to transferring. Improved storage speeds affect some games more than others. Destiny 2 performs noticeably better with loading screens and pulling up character menus. I'm also able to move it between PS4's easily to enjoy the increased speeds with my base PS4 without reinstalling games.

For such a small back-up drive, it is amazing! First, it is quite - no noise what so ever. Second, downloads are almost as fast as drag-n-drop. Third, the size - so small and thin, it's easy to take anywhere. Since purchasing, I have loaded almost 20k photos and thousands of files, it still has over 600GB left! Highly recommend as a super storage drive.

I love this product. It's essential if you have an android phone with a type-c connection, IMO. It's fast and efficient, so data gets moved at an incredible rate. If data protection is important, there is a way to password protect the data as well. I would recommend that any data person have one of these in their bag. I actually own two of them.

Transfers, read, and write with ease. OMG, how have I been getting buy with other external hard drives. Thankfully these went on sale and purchased it cheaper than when they first came out. Definitely worth the money now but still a lot of money generally. Great if you have large files needing to transfer. A waste if only have small files unless transferring massive amount of small files.

Works exactly as intended I only wish I had got an SSD a long time before now. Honestly there are articles if you should get an HDD or SSD. LOL unless you need like a dozen terabytes or something close. Why you would choose an HDD over an SDD is beyond me. And this Samsung drive deliveres exactly what it says.
