Can't beat the price. If your on the go highly recommend speed wise.. Crazy. I bought a couple of t7. There cool but you have to make sure your usb is 3.2 gen 2.. So if your computer is not compatible and your not looking to upgrade stick with the t5. Save about 50 bucks for 1 terabyte.

I brought this for my work to archive and backup work data that is not required to be readily accessible. The read and write is pretty fast considering it is a SSD and i have been using it daily with my MacBook for over a year now and it has been rock solid.

I purchased this hoping it would worked better than the SanDisk flash drive recommended by Nvidia. That drive would always disconnect from the Nvidia Shield. Not only is the T5 much faster than flash drive it hasn't disconnected even once. I highly recommend it if you want more storage for the Shield. The only drawback is the price.

I love this little SSD. It is fast, works flawlessly, and is a great way to keep all of my important stuff backed up from multiple computers. It is of very high quality, as you'd expect from Samsung. Well-worth the investment in order to NOT have to store my important information on the cloud. Highly recommended.

I purchased this as an external drive for my PS4 since the one i purchased prior did not work. As soon as i plugged this in, my PS4 recognized it and i was off and running. I can finally play a lot of the games i purchased but couldn’t install due to lack of storage.

FAST, FAST, FAST. This is my 2nd Samsung SSD external drive. My first was 500mb SSD and I wanted another one for extra backup storage. I got the T5-1TB instead of the T7 since I don't care about touch on an SSD. They are pretty much plug and play. I've never had one fail. Highly recommend.

A little pricey but very necessary for video editing. The Samsung T5 is well worth the price for working with large files with ease. The build is solid and very portable. The fast read and write speeds are a must for working with 4K video and large files.

Bought this on the recommendation of a friend, and it has changed my opinion of fast. I have used USB 3.0 thumb drives, and considered them to be reasonably fast, but no more. I bought a USB 3.1 card for one of my computers to take advantage of the extra speed. I am even considering a home network upgrade, because Gb network speeds seem way to pokey!

We needed addtional space on our Xbox One X, and this was a perfect fit. No need to get an "official Xbox hard drive", this just connected via a USB port, let the OS identify it, and it's done. Because it's an SSD there is no loss of game speed, it appears to load a few of the things a little quicker actually. Great buy!
