    Excellent to be used as file backup unit. Did not use it as external SSD to see if the speed can catch up with demand. Kind of expensive.

    I bought this external SSD to carry my data and in particular movies with me when I’m traveling. The data transfer was SO slow when I did the initial large transfer from my home PC luckily time was not an issue. I’m hoping I don’t ever have to transfer large blocks of data when I’m away from home. Still, the options for a large-ish external SSD are limited so there you go.
