Thin, LightWeight & Easy to pocket. Stays cool & quiet. Solid state isnt a worry w/ bumps since no disk spinning inside. Ive lost data w/ disks, solid state is the security i needed…!! This brand is supposed to be one of the best. Ive been using it over 2 yrs. This is my 2nd one, i use 1st for personal & 2nd for business

fast transfer rate, compact and good price for a portable ssd

I originally had the 500 gb but returned for the 1tb for my Xbox one x. It works great for extra storage and it’s fast noticeably faster then the stock Internal HD.

I bought this to specifically transfer lots of family videos that had been converted into digital files for storage on something other than the desktop computer. It works great - the transfer onto this external drive was so much faster than I thought it would be. I am able to move things on and off the drive for editing and I feel confident that they are safe.

This added more storage to my gaming laptop! Plug and play and easy install.

I purchased this SSD for additional space for my new PC and I'm using it to store and play gaming on and thus far has been pretty reliable. It acts like a flashdrive but just with a lot of space on it. It's not terribly expensive but I think it's worth it. It's a lot more quicker than a hard drive. I would recommend it definitely.

Not a huge Samsung in general, but I do really like this SSD. I got this to use in recording video with my Blackmagic Pocket 6k Pro and I’ve had no issues with it so far. What I also like too is this SSD came with an actual USB-A to USB-C cord for connecting to my computer, unlike my SSD made by Sandisk.

Extremely fast. Running VMs on this is seamless. It behaves no different than an internal SSD

We've only had this drive for a short period of time so hoping that it lasts but I will say it's incredibly fast. Both read and write make such a difference and we're able to access data much quicker now. I don't think we'll be able to go back to "spinning disks" ever again for accessing data unless it's purely backup scenarios.

Holds more space than my pc and my job require a lot of space to store things. Recommend

Fast external hd good speeds, built really well, very tough

Very nice drive. Came with encryption software to protect the data in case the drive is lost or stolen. Large amount of storage for all those digital photos that you need to keep. Speed to read and write is very nice as well. I use it to keep copies of all of my photos and electronic copies of important documents outside my home.

I bought it for the purpose of cloning my Mac's hard drive in preparation of performing a clean install of Big Sur. It has native USB 3 (Thunderbolt) connectivity which helps make this drive much faster than a SATA and one can tell immediately. It made quick work of cloning aprx 400 GB. Worth it. Naturally, I'll have to wait and see regarding durability.
