super light SSD. Faster speeds. Can be carried any

Works perfectly as described. I was able to get ~410MB per second with read speeds, and I forgot to do the write speeds. Make sure your usb port is 3.1 or newer. It was also awesome that it configure itself as drive (D): without having to set up a new grove automatically.

This ssd drive changed my laptop from a crawler to a racer. Unbelievably fast boot up and access to files. I have one internal drive and one external drive and they are worth every penny! Also the Samsung software makes it easy to clone your old hard disk to the new ssd. Get one or more now!

While I have not benchmarked this SSD, it seems to work as good/fast as my SanDisk External SSDS which cost more.I managed to buy this one around $130 or $140 which makes it $20-$30 cheaper that a sandisk or newer model(s) of the Samsung line of external SSDS.

WE PURCHASED 2 OF THESE DRIVES BECAUSE OUR OLD EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE WAS BEGINNING TO GIVE IT UP. WHAT A GREAT PURCHASE THIS WAS! WE USE ONE AS A WORKING DRIVE AND THE OTHER IS FOR BACK UP PURPOSES. THEY ARE SOOOO FREAKING FAST. TRULY AWESOME.

Bought this to use with with the PS5 to keep PS4 games and it works seamlessly. I have it set to auto store all PS4 games on it and I have no issues so far. You get less than 700gb usable SSD storage on the PS5 so adding this makes a big difference.

Great size it just fits in your palm and nice speed I use it for streaming my music sample libraries didn't have an issue so far.

This SSD works great as secondary storage for PS4 games on my PS5. No complaints. If your use case is similar to mine, make sure you set your PS5 to always provide power to USB in rest mode; otherwise, you'll have periodic issues.

Pro: Simple design, metal frame and very easy to use. Storage even after a lot of re-formats is nearly the listed amount. I would look to see if there is a deal going on for it from time to time.

Just get it! This SSD is exactly what I've been looking for. To have the ability to work directly off the SSD without having to drag files off of it is fantastic. I shoot weddings and whats nice is I can transfer all my data and keep shooting

The T5 wasn't as simple and easy to use as my seagate was. I am still not sure about the security feature requiring a log in. I worry I could forget my log in and lose all of my work. I really like how small it is, convenient to pack. The access is quick and easy, maybe faster than my seagate. The two are mostly the same. I don't notice much difference other than the log in on the T5 for security that could be good and bad. I am happy with my samsung phones S6 & S7 so I am hoping the SS Drive will be as good on the long haul.

Great speed at reasonable price. Games load from the drive super fast on my series x and no heat concerns. Def a great pairing for game pass junkies! *I did need to connect to a pc initially but then was able to be read/formatted for series x or ps5.

I Rated this item a four cause once i was able to install the device it was easy breezy. At first it took a while for my mac to read the ssd for whatever reason. It kept stating the ssd was disconnected but on the utility drive it was acknowledging the drive, with no issues. I had to click erase a few times and reset. It stopped at first, and then started showing up again. I clicked on first aid and it finally fixed the issue and stopped showing the disconnected message when I plugged in the ssd.

I researched many reviews (including YouTube) and found nearly 100% favorable comments. Turns out Best Buy had it on sale and I had a few certificate dollars to apply. That said, it has paired nicely with my new 27" iMac. I'm working on a vacation video for my travel crew and couldn't believe how fast 900 or so digital photos were quickly transferred. It is small and I like the big storage and speed. I'm using it as a drive to pair with 512 SSD internal in my iMac. My tech friend at work suggested this item but warned that it is pricier than the competition. I feel I made the right choice no matter the price.

Using this unit to transfer files from old system to new, using a USB 3.0 connection on new PC and a USB 2.0 connection on the old system. Wow what a difference!!! Took about 30 sec to upload from the old PC and only 5 sec to download to new PC! Very fast device, worth the $$.

I’m a videographer and we use these at work, and I bought several for personal projects as well. Super fast, I love the transfer speeds, and it’s so convenient to edit off of too. Highly recommend for videographers/photographers or anyone that will be working off a drive & transferring data often!
