I did a good amount of reach before buying this device. Pros: 1. Small compact. 2. Great built quality with metal construction. 3. Comes with two cables (USB A to USB C and USB C to USB C). 4. Fast transfer rate. Cons: 1. Does not come with a case.

I really love this hard drive, its fast and the initial install was self explanatory and easy. Its great for MAC and if you are a photographer or videographer the speed is unmatched and helps a lot when post processing

I was running out of computer storage so i was in need of something external and this was the perfect option for me and it’s small enough to toss in your pocket and take with you anywhere

Love how fast this drive is and how small it is for how much space it offers. Be aware that it is a lot smaller then you probably think it is though and if not kept in a safe place because it can be easily misplaced.

This is an awesome physical backup SSD for my desktop and laptop. 1TB is huge and it's samsung SSD so I expect to use this for a long time. I still have cloud backup but it's nice to have a physical back up.

My old back up spinning HDD but the dust. Wanted a SSD to reduce chance of future problems. Amazed when I saw how physically small this thing was and, like all SSDs, how nice it is to have something quiet.

This external SSD, when you first see it online, you'd expect it to be the same size as most standard 2.5" HD enclosures, such as Seagate, WD or EasyShare drive. This drive is actually smaller. It is about the size of a credit card and about 1/2" thick. It does come with a Standard USB3.0 to USB-C (3.1) cable as well as a UBS-C to USB-C Cable. What is good about it is the performance. It is faster at coping data than the standard IDE drives are and i use this as my goto drive when speed is important. The unit doesn't seem to feel warm or get hot at all (well at least i haven't experienced anything like that). What i love is the compact size and security knowing that it can take a little beating (unlike most physical HD). Over all very good product that has been beyond awesome Would love to see these in 2 or 4 TB at this form factor.

So far good experience. Its fast holds a tb that because of videos ive already filled. But not really worth the money. I dont understand how SSD are more than HDD they have no moving parts. How is that more expensive than HDD that has to fastly spin and move a reader over the disk. Just corporations taking advantage of its consumers. I would love to talk to someone higher up to hear what they would say.

I'm into high definition audio that requires an extremely high transfer rate in absolute silence. These Samsung SSDs fit that bill, are tiny, and reliable at a great price.

just plug into a usb 3.0 port and start to use. i use my computer to edit photographs, programs are kept on the smaller internal SSD and the images are kept on this drive. much faster then an HDD and large enough for all my images.

Samsung is the only brand I use when it comes to solid state storage. They are awesome.

This is an amazing drive. I store music on it and its very fast when it comes to searching and playing music on demand. I recommend this to everyone needing fast and reliable memory. You might want to skip the encrypting option. Its not necessary.

I have an HDD die a couple weeks ago, and had to scramble to find a replacement. I run a recording studio, so backup files are very important to me. I purchased this drive and am incredibly haply with its performance thusfar.

Purchased this drive as a present for my IT son. He LOVES it! The T5 allows him to store enormous code files in a non-mechanical environment. It's small, compact, and versatile. Perfect for the commuting culture working the Silicon Hills of downtown San Francisco.

It’s very thin & small & fast when plugged in to download stuff. I highly recommend it just wish it was a little cheaper.
