Excellent Performance

I use them as my main drive, because the original SSDs that come with the systems have worn down. This is a nice way to move your system to a new SSD, without worrying about opening up the computer and replacing any worn down SSDs. I have not noticed any speed differences between the original SSDs and this one.

Ultra-rapid SSD

I absolutely love it. It backs up so quickly, especially when plugged in to a USB-C port. It takes roughly a half an hour to back up 230gb of data as opposed to over an hour with a traditional drive. Setup was simple and straight forward and the drive is absolutely silent. I would highly recommend this item.

easy to use

It also doesn't come with directions, just plug it in and it works which makes me nervous trying any of the options offered. Very expensive is the downside for 500gb.

I use it for video editing and makes my work flow SO much faster and smoother. I recommend. Price is where it should be for the quality and the product. Only complaint is that the drive is aluminum and doesn’t come with some sort of case to protect it from scratching.
