Not a lot to say about it. Nice and compact; good performance and durability.

I've always hesitated about purchasing SSD drives due to the price point. I have now realized that the money I was saving was costing my time. With SSD drives my render/processing time for videos and high res photo editing has reduced significantly! Highly recommend the Samsung T5 as it is lightweight (less than the size of an iPhone) and has never failed me. I now own 4 of these units and will continue to buy more as needed.

This hard drive works well. It has plenty of storage. It is very fast. Files transfer in seconds.

I bought this to use as my home folder for my MacBook Pro. I can’t even tell that the computer is using an external drive. It is really fast. I also like that it is small and very portable. It is also cheaper to buy an external ssd drive over the larger MacBook internal drive. I will definitely be buying another ssd external drive for backup use.

This is a 500GB External USB drive and it is small. Hardly take any space. Fast and works great.

I just love this compact and portable drive. It's pretty fast and easy to use. The style and elegance really makes it unique. 'm very happy with the product and would have gone for a 5 starr if the cable was of little superior quality. the cable is just ordinary.

Researched this drive and found it had overwhelmingly great reviews on every site it was featured on. Used it to transfer my data from an old iPad Pro to a new one (didn't use the migration assistant because I didn't want everything moved over). Appreciated I didn't need to buy any additional adapter cables. Now use it for my time machine backups. It works flawlessly and I love the the size, weight and color.

Fast transfers to SSD, Type C connector, and compact form factor

The physical size of this drive is so much smaller than I thought it would be and there is almost zero weight to it. It is very fast on my 2013 Usb 3 Mac and could go a little faster if my Mac was newer (USB-C)...but zero complains. Nice that they included both USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB 3 (older computers) out of the box.

After using multiple harddrive including the low end WD drives and better Lacie drives I've found that this hard drive is the most reliable and one of the faster drives available. I use this for everything from backing up to editing straight from the drive. For new Macbook users with only USB C this is the drive to get.

This drive is faster compared to its predecessor. I would recommend the 500GB since it performs better than 250GB. Complete aluminum finish makes it look like a premium product

I purchased this to replace a couple of old portable hard drives. Although the T5 is expensive compared to a conventional portable drive, the performance is amazing. The drive itself is the size of a credit card, and it comes with 2 cables - USB 3 type A and type C. I would recommend the T5 to anyone who is looking for fast portable storage and is willing to spend a bit extra for it.
