Has a fair amount of space for backup files and work in progress. I'm very happy with this purchase- will no longer be buying spinner drives for external back ups.

Great!!! One minor gripe

Scrubbing through footage during video edit is butter smooth. My one small gripe is the USB C connection easily slips out on the 2016+ MacBook pros when on your lap. If it’s on a stationary desk it’s not an issue. Minor annoyance but I have had quite a few accidental disconnects on the laptop when on my lap

Yes, you'll pay a bit more for an SSD, but the performance and reliability are worth the cost, and Samsung's SSDs set the industry standard.

When I play open world games with my friends, I'm usually one of the players loading in first (mostly likely with other SSD or PS4 Pro users). I primarily use it to play Destiny on a regular PS4, and the load times are significantly faster. Super happy with the performance.
