I bought this because I play the division 2 a lot! And installed only that game on it and it loads faster, my fast travel is quicker and overall performs better than I thought glad I bought it

This portable SSD from Samsung is extremely useful! I have a MacBook Pro and I’m using this SSD as a Windows 10 OS boot drive with no issues whatsoever. It’s fast and reliable and so far my only regret is not buying the 1TB option.

I have purchased many Samsung SSDs, both external and internal, over many years now, and have never been disappointed. I think I bought this one for my Tesla, to record camera events. It works perfectly in this application. I use others as expansion drives to hold another OS like Linux, and as backup drives. I've never had one fail. Note: I've never used the software that comes with them, or the built-in encryption--I just use them as basic drives, and format them as needed by whatever OS I use, whether Mac, Windows, or Linux. Pros: * very attractive * easy to use * comes with both an A and C cable Cons: * honestly none I can think of

I bought a bottom of the barrel laptop and this hard drive. I put all the files games and movies all on this. It allows the laptop to not slow down at all. I have had trouble with files corrupting but probably unrelated.

This thing is great... it’s so good and fast that I went and purchased another one.. then when it dropped in price to 100, I brought my son one.. if you are looking for speed and reliability... this is the ssd to buy

I had previously purchased 16GB flash drives only to find that the last two 5 packs were terrible. So, I decided to try something new. So far, this is working great. I currently rate it a 5 star.

Got this to back all of my music on my Mac! Very fast and easy to use, no more spinning external hard drives for me. SSD is the way to go!!

Works exactly as expected, no complaints. SSD is more for pro users. If you're just looking for extra storage for everyday files, you don't need this kind of speed. Unless money is not a concern, of course

I absolutely enjoy using this as extended storage for my PS4. Easy to format and greatly reduces load times on games without the time, effort, and hassle of replacing the hard drive.

Bought this to replace a mechanical hard drive. I can access my files fast and even edit photoshop and illustrator files straight from the drive without a problem. Very light and solid build

Great external Solid State Drive for storing audio and video conference feeds, so I can review them after my meetings. I actually bought 2 of these drives (500GB and 1TB) and I'm very happy with both of them.

This has been a good external ssd. The price is a little high but it performs well through usb 3.0 so far. Throughput is around 3-400 Mbps, I.O. Is decent although small files will slow this drive down. I assume sub 3.1 would be marginally better. Fits my needs well. Currently have this attached to my Xbox One X, tested against an 860 evo with startech adapter, they were even.

Slick, fast and compact portable SSD. Nice that both cables were included too. Great for throwing in my bag and not worrying about damaging the drive like a traditional portable drive that uses an mechanical drive.

I have the 250GB also and I love this device. I can carry it anywhere and access my files, movies, and pictures. I bought the 500GB version so I can have more files, pictures, and movies.

This SSD is extremely compact and lightweight, which makes it perfect for travel, or wherever you would need a fair amount of hard drive space in a small footprint.

Bought one for home - 2012 iMac, went back and got another for work - 2013 iMac. Using for my startup disk running Mojave, turned SLOW computers to blazing fast. Couldn't be happier with the results!

bought this as a way to speed up loading on xbox-x. best addition i have made. speeds up the process noticeably must buy.. great deal and great product

I used it to speed up load times on my PS4 pro and am loving the purchase! This works perfectly out of the box no questions asked highly recommend it if you don't have an SSD for your PlayStation

Bought this to back up photos. Set up about a dozen folders downloaded around 4000 photos. Only used about 30G of the 500G, Very fast too. Way quicker than the spinning disc.
