Move Over HDD, SSD is Here!

Been meaning to transition over to SSD portable hard drives for a long while and finally I’ve bitten the dust on it. It’s a really compact device, smaller than a credit card! Wish it did come with a carrying pouch though, feel like I’ll lose it someday. Comes with both USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C cables. Transfer speeds seem pretty quick. Did a 20gb file move over from Mac to drive, took ~5 minutes. Not bad!

Lightweight, speedy portable drive

The read performance can't touch my Surface Book 2's internal drive (no surprise), but it's still quite speedy and write performance is on par: SusWrite @10s intervals: 319 353 346 342 340 345 MB/s. This drive is a great storage solution for today's smallish SSD internal drives. I have no problem recommending.

My Favorite External Drive

I bought two external hard drives the same day, the other was hdd. No offense to my other hard drive but this toshiba is all I use. It’s installs into my MacBook Pro easily. No issues so far. And did I mention how cute it is? Definitely worth the price I paid (I got a deal around the end of November). I would suggest to buy the 1 TB or higher because I really wish I did.
