Small, well built external SSD. Props to Samsung for including both USB-C and USB-A cables in the box. Currently using with Mac Mini 2014 over USB3 - works great. It will work even better once I get my new Mac Mini 2018 I suspect. Not a huge fan of the blue color, would have preferred black or silver.

I bought it for Destiny 2 on an Xbox One, it changes load times (from Xbox menu all the way to the tower) from about 5 1/2 minutes to 2 1/2 minutes. It changes the menu open time from 7 seconds to 2 seconds. If you’re looking to improve game loading times on the Xbox this is a good unit.

I use this SSD to transfer media files between my home and work PC and thus far, it has done a fantastic job.

I bought this because my old back up was....well old. What I like about this ssd back up is: 1. It's small and easy to take with you. 2. It seems faster than my old one. 3. I'm hoping it will last for a long time- that we'll have to wait and see. If you can buy it on sale I feel it's a good buy.

Bought as an ancillary drive for a new iMac. Although it took a few tries to get it working (proprietary safety application was interfering), this provides really fast and reliable storage for USB-C devices. Have since bought another for my wife's Macbook.

I run IOS and Windows on my iMac. My windows speed was unacceptable and I decided to add the 500GB Samsung SSD to dedicate the Windows files there. Performance has improved tremendously. Very easy to install with great performance.

Seems solid. Much faster than previous traditional HD. Would give five stars if cost was a little less. At 5 bucks a GB could prob purchase cloud storage.

I'm using the T5 with my imac. I needed a fast secure way to backup large files to carry with me on trips, I tried using USB drives, but they were very slow. The T5 is amazingly fast. I have not tested the T5's compatibility between imac's and PC's. Otherwise, I recommend it completely.

This drive is so much faster than my previous USB3.0 memory stick! Transfers a 4GB file in just a couple of seconds if you have a USB 3.1 GEN 2 port on your computer. Light weight, low power, small, and has built-in encryption that can be turned on/off as needed.

Bought this to use with my PS4 (non Pro) and it works fantastic and greatly improved load times due to the USB being 5Gb/sec vs the slower internal Sata interface

This has been a great hard drive to store back ups of daily photos. Feel like I can download camera SD's on to my laptop and this unit and move on with my day taking more photos. Small package of security!!!

This is a fantastic Drive. The quality of Samsung and the speed of the 21st century gods in one blue box. I love these and I'm buying more. I've been using this with our BlackMagic Pocket 4K for mass atorage but also like to use it for a really fast scratch disk.

Bought this as a quick, interim replacement when my nighthawk went down. Performance surprised me to the point that it may not be interim.

This is my second Samsung external USB drive that I have purchase, and it was a very good buy. You can't go wrong. It is a very god buy, and it works.

I bought this after upgrading to a new MacBook Air. It works wonderfully and the USB-C transfer rate is amazingly fast. For the money it was a great way to add storage and allow me to move large amounts of data back and forth between my Mac and Windows computers

Received this as part of a package and decided to use it as a place to store photos/videos from my mobile phone. Works great, easy to use, seems solidly built.

It is overall very fast and easy to use but sometimes it disconnects too easily from my laptop but that’s because of the cable that I keep moving accidentally

This SSD hard drive is awesome! It can easily be plugged into a Mac or PC and all files are visible in both. Backup of files is really fast. Of course, because it is an SSD it is a bit pricey compared to standard hard drives but the benefits outweigh the cost.
