    Very light solid state drive which works well. My only issue is that the only program Samsung has developed for it secures it with a password but does not direct the device to back up the computer. I was able to use the Windows backup program which is pretty basic and others likely available on the internet.

    I wanted an external ssd hard drive for my iMac 2011 . I was hoping the start up would be faster. It is but , it is still not as fast as an internal ssd . 50 sec for the external Samsung ,verses 90 sec for the internal sat hard drive . The Samsung was easy to install. I followed the you tube videos no problems. $110 on sale .

    Great little drive. I use this as my boot drive for a MacBook. Fast enough that I don't see any noticeable difference to the internal SSD

    Works fine with PC, BUT you have to use additional app to work with Android, which they don't tell you. App is free, but if you don't have it, you can't copy/save files. All that the program does that comes with the device is to allow you to set up security/password. Good value and replaces several flash drives.
